Arrival Story:
Sally Mae was rescued in Nashville. She was dumped at the humane society there and transfered to Muttley Crue.
Bio:
Sally Mae is a sweet Rottie girl. She is your typical Rottie, large and full of love, and thinks she is a lap dog. She loves to snuggle up on the couch. She is great with the other dogs. We are not sure how she is with cats but nothing seems to really phase her so we don't think she would be bad with them. She is a gentle giant. She loves to go for car rides too. All Sally Mae wants is to be with her human and to be loved as much as she loves. She is house trained and will kennel on command, although she doesn't need to be created. She knows basic commands too.
She has mild hip dysplasia which is responding well to glucosamine suppliments. At this time she does not need surgery. She MUST remain on her glucosamine to keep her joints as healthy as possible. Glusosamine is not very expensive and can be purchased at any vets office or pet supply store. Hip dysplasia is common among large breed dogs, especailly Rotties.
Sally Mae's adoption fee is $150.
