Arrival Story:
He was hidding among a bunch of lab puppies at the local Humaine Society. I was not looking for a pet but was there for business purposes and just went to look and there he was, all small and cute. I knew he would be a perfect companion for Drizzt. He was. It was love at first sight for them and they became instant brothers.
Bio:
I learned he was deaf at his first check up. The vet offered to put him to sleep if we did not want him and I was horrified at the thought. He was a baby and it wasn't his fault he was deaf. I declined and said no, I was already in love with him. The vet said he was glad bc he would have hated to put him down. So I had 5 perfect years with him till he experienced kidney failure. It was hard bc he died at the vet's over a holiday weekend. We didn't know he had passed on. I promised never to let that happen again and it won't.
