Where is everyone???

My friend didn't come home for lunch today and Mommy still wasn't here by 5:00pm!!! What is going on? I need to go potty so badly. My friend is always so good about being home around 12 noon and it's fun to play with him even though it's only for less than an hour.

My leg is feeling a lot better but they still try to keep my from jumping off the couch or going up and down the stairs (NO FUN!!)

My friend told me that I might get a little sister after my leg is all better.

I hope they come home soon cause it's getting lonely.

It'll be a lot more fun once I get a sister.

Santa Paws

Today my Friend and Mom took me to the Houston Arboretum Nature Center to get pictures taken with Santa Claws. He was kinda scary looking at first cause he was bigger than most other people I see . He seemed like a nice enough person--so I sat still long enough for them to take our picture. I made sure to squirm a lot more than usual so Mom would have to be with me in the photo to hold me(heheh)

There were a lot of other dogs there and of course I had to make sure to bark at them all to tell them that Santa Claws liked me best.

Hopefully the pictures will turn out because Mom said she might make them into Christmas Cards to send out to friends.

Tummy aches

My human friend had to take me to the vet clinic yesterday because I had red stuff in my Number 2. The lady doctor said it might be due to stress colitis...and believe me , I've had a lot of stress lately due to the leg surgery. The lady vet gave me a shot...OUCH!!! I felt it this time cuz it made me yelp a bit (the other older vet did it last time and I didn't feel a thing!)

Anyway I can't have ANY treats for a while but I get to eat that special ID food. Yummy-- I scarf that stuff down.

I'm DONE with vet clinics!! Although I did hear my human friend asking the doctor about cleaning teeth....that doesn't sound fun

I finally got the cast off

My mom and friend took me to the vet today. I sure was nervous cause I knew this was the same place they took me to get my operation. The man in the white lab coat put me on that cold metal table. He took out these scary scissors and cut off the itchy cast that was on my leg. FREEDOM!!!!

I heard the vet say that my movement has to be limited for another 6 weeks I can't wait to go jogging with my friend and being able to run down the stairs to say hi to my Mom and Friend when they come home! I really miss chasing my blankie around and it's really getting boring being couped up in the small playpen area. Before the surgery I had the whole house while they were gone.

January 11th 2007 should be the date when my recovery is complete!!!
