It's wonderful to be part of the family

Ashley and Mom brought home a new puppy!

I am so excited! There is a new tiny dog at our house. He's Ashley's dog Benny. He is a bichion poo. I even think he's cute. He smells different from the rest of the family....I've checked him out! My sister Lexi doesn't say too much about him...but I can't leave him alone. He was playing with his little rope toy and he was having so much fun....I snuck it out when he was getting combed. What a kill joy Mom is...she came and got it and I got scolded that it wasn't mine. I'm having a hard time sleeping because I know Benny is in Ashley's room and I need to check on him. Oh well I guess Mom won't let me go and give him some puppy advice so I better get to bed. woofnite to all.

Summer is here and life is so much fun!

Here it is summer. Well the sun isn't out too much and it's raining a bit, but it's summer. The grandkids came over and I got to show them how fast I could run around the back yard. It's fun when they come. The baby feeds me from her chair, and the three year old loves to give me cookies. Mom watches the doors so they don't let me out front. I got out one day as Mom was taking the recycling out. It was really fun playing keep away. The neighbor cheated and caught me when I was saying hello. Mom wasn't smiling!
My sister Lexi is a lot of fun. She and I play tug of war every day. We play chase and catch me if you can. Sometimes she gets a little bossy but most of the time she is a lot of fun. We have a routine for breakfast and dinner. We each have a bowl but it's more fun to eat from the same one and then move on to the other bowl. Lexi used to hate me but she really likes me now.
Alfred is a fun chew toy. Mom yells at me for pulling on his neck skin. Sometimes he'll growl and nip at me but I just ignore him until Mom comes and pulls me off. Mom says I have to be nice to him since he's old.

I have so much fun!

It's January now and I've settled very nicely into the family. I love my human Dad. I stop whatever I'm doing when he appears, and run over to him so he can pet me and I can lick him. My Mom says my whole body is wagging when I see him. My sister Lexi is a lot of fun, though she is still telling me that she is the boss. We have great times playing tug of war, and she loves to chase me around and around the living room. We have a deal made on the food bowls. She can eat for a while and then I have a turn and then she has a turn and then I have a turn, even though we have two bowls. When we finish the first one we then switch over to the other bowl and share just like we did on the first bowl. Mom thinks we're nuts. Alfred my brother gets picked on by me. I use him as my personal play ground. He's pretty cool and doesn't complain too much. Mom feels sorry for him and gives him a time out from me. I'm doing better remembering to go outside to pee. I now get to sleep with Mom and Lexi. Lexi doesn't like me there but the crate was getting a little small for me, and I like being there with Mom and Lexi. I sleep all night without having to pee. We had a lot of snow around Christmas. Lexi and I got to run around the backyard in the snow. I like to stick my nose under the snow and plow my way around the yard. Lexi spends all her time checking out the bushes for birds and the mole living in the back yard. Well Mom just told me to get to sleep so I better end for now. Woof
