I still cannot believe it is true.
A Forever Home of my own where I will live the rest of my life. There is a futon for me to crash on, kids for me to check on, a yard for me to take care of, and a real mom and dad to protect. Best of all, my sweet sister and I are reunited at last. How could we be this lucky?
It has not been an easy journey to my Forever Home. I was so, so sick for so long. I think I left my old home just in time.
After I left my old home, people were kind to me, everywhere I went. Some people let me stay at their houses, some people came and walked with me and played with me, some people took me to the vet where I had my surgery, and some people just were plain nice to me. You cannot imagine how nice people have been to me.
If it were not for all those people, those incredibly nice people, I would not have a Forever Home with my sister and her family. In fact, I would probably not be alive.
But I am alive, and still gaining weight. And I am the happiest, most thankful dog ever.
Thank you for coming by to check on me. Thank you for everything. I’ll be ok now. I promise!
Love,
Bitsy

Something really cool happened tonight.
I rang a bell.
The door opened.
I went outside to do my business.
I have been watching Domino ring this bell beside the door for three days now. She rings it, Bryan rings it, Shannon rings it –- and then the door opens.
Nobody had rung it yet tonight, and I needed the door to open, so I rang it. I rang the bell, and the door opened. I think to myself, "This is GREAT."
So my question is this: Why are there not bells on the rest of you people's doors? I have stayed with a lot of folks, and this is the first bell-door setup I have seen, and it’s pretty dang handy. And it doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to figure it out, either.
Go ahead and treat yourselves. Bells on doors will make your world a better place, I promise. Run along now, find yourself a bell, and knock yourself out.

I think I might be the luckiest dog ever!
Tonight, I went to stay with a family who maybe maybe maybe wants to be my forever home! They have kids and a back yard and lots of toys and live near the dog park and everything!!
But what’s really wild is that my little sister Domino lives with them! They picked her out of our litter a year ago this month. She was so small and so scared when they took her, but now she is big and strong and so so so happy. I cannot believe that I might get to live with my sister and her family!
We have a week to figure it out if it will work. Wish me luck, dog pals! I really want this to be the one more than anything! Oh, please please please!
