Arrival Story:
I saw her adorable little face on petfinder, went to visit her at the shelter and what can I say, it was love at first sight! I just couldn't resist those big brown eyes, and her odd ferret-giraffe looking body(she's got a long neck, a head that's too big for her body, and a back that arches funny like a ferret... yup that's my dog!)

Bio:
This little girl was found by a trucker (who saw her family dump her out of their car at a highway rest area), rescued her and the drove her cross-country in his big rig back to MI!!! The vet thinks she is a dachshund-chihuahua-beagle mix, but she's often mistaken for a beagle puppy. Lily is scared of most everything and has mastered the chihuahua shake, but is very gregarious and loves making new human friends (we're working on making doggie friends too). She has brought so much joy to my life in the few months I've had her, and made me a very proud mama!
