I NEED A HAIRCUT!

SHEESH!! It's July already and I haven't had my summer haircut yet! I am beginning to think that my Daddy has forgotten that I'm due for one--I look so adorable when I have my hair trimmed close! Daddy says I look like a curly-haired rat, but I know he only says that in fun! My sister Miss Bigglesworth gets jealous when I come home after a haircut, but that's because she's a cat and cats never EVER look good!

I'M BACK!

Wow! I hadn't realized that it had been so long since I wrote anything here! So much has happened since the last time! My daddy has rearranged the bedroom that my "house" is in, so I've now got a much better view of the outside when daddy's at work..but that isn't always a good thing because we've had a lot of thunderstorms around here since summer began. I don't care too much for all of the noise and flashes of light when the storms hit! It doesn't help matters that my sister Miss Bigglesworth gets into a panic when the storms come. I have to calm her down and coax her out from under whatever bed she has crawled under! Cats are such chickens! :-)

I'm another year older too since my last entry..although I almost didn't make it to another year! The mean dog next door got out of his yard one day a few months ago and almost ate me! If my daddy hadn't been watching over me while I was outside, I would have been a goner for sure! My daddy made sure that the neighbors knew how upset he was and they have promised to be more careful about closing their gate! WHEW!! It's so nice to have a daddy that loves me that much!

Uh-oh! Daddy's coming, so I'd better go. He doesn't know that I can type this well! If he catches me, he might make me update his human blog!!

I'm Going to Miss my Daddy!

My daddy is going out of town for the weekend! What am I going to do??!! I've tried my best to convince him not to go...but he insists that he has to go and visit his aunt. I'm so upset! Who is going to play ball with me?? Yes, Chris will still be here, but it's just not the same...my daddy has so much fun throwing my ball and then hiding from me while I go to fetch it back. Of course Daddy can never hide very well from me because I always sniff him out!
I know I won't sleep very well tonight with my Daddy gone. I always have a hard time when he's not here...once I sat up nearly all night waiting for him to come home. I was exhausted the next day! My sister Miss Bigglesworth isn't making things any easier for me either. She insists that she is having a party while Daddy is gone...she has even threatened to lock me in my house once my daddy leaves today!! I know her...she'll try to trick me into going into my house and then she'll slam the door and lock it! I'll have to make sure that I don't fall for it this time! She's so devious!
I guess I'll write more once my daddy gets home and lets me back on the computer!

I Am So Frustrated!

This morning, I woke up early and found my daddy still asleep..as usual! I wanted to play ball and he wouldn't wake up! I found out though that if I sneak under the covers and start licking his feet, he will wake up and play with me! Of course, that isn't one of my favorite ways to wake up my daddy, but as long as it works!

So my daddy let me go outside for a little bit this morning, and just as I was starting to chase the squirrel that was in the yard, this HUGE dog from next door came running up to the fence and started barking at me! It scared me senseless! How can I play in the yard when this big brute of a dog keeps harassing me from the other side of the fence?? He'd just better be glad that there's a fence separating us or I'd really show him some teeth!

My daddy says that he needs to use the computer, so I'd better sign off for now. Hmmm....I wonder where that lazy sister of mine is? I haven't chased her in over an hour now! I'll bet she's hiding under the Christmas tree trying to take a nap! I think I'll go scare the fur off of her and chase her around the house!

My New Page!

Today, my daddy Bryon told me that he had started a neat new webpage on the internet, and that it was all about ME! I was so excited that I almost forgot about the PupCorn treat he'd given me for going outside and ...well, you know what I mean.
Ok, so what do I put in my very first entry on my brand new page?? Well, I guess I could start with my day so far. I woke up this morning and crawled out from under the covers to find that my daddy was still sound asleep! I decided to sneak into the kitchen to see if there were any goodies in the trash can...darnit! Daddy had been smart and put the trash can up high so that I couldn't reach it! So I decided that I should just go back to bed until my lazy daddy decided to wake up. I did take note that my other daddy Chris wasn't home. I wonder where he'd gone? Probably to work...both of them need to work to be able to keep my supply of food and treats up! It does bother me that both of them have to be gone so much, but it is fun to hang out in my little house while they're away.
After my daddy Bryon FINALLY woke up, he let me go outside..which was a really GOOD thing because I was about to "wet my britches" as he would say! After coming back in, I got a treat and chased my sister, Miss Bigglesworth, around the living room. I have to keep her on her toes, and remind her who the BOSS of this house is!
Well, my daddy says that I need to sign off so that he can get ready to go to work. *sigh..I'm going to miss him so much when he leaves. But at least my daddy Chris will be home shortly after so that he can play with me!
