I said in my last diary entry AC was going to Halifax, Nova Scotia to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Atlantic Canada, well she did! AC raised almost 3 times the amount she thought she'd raise.
AC's total funds raised was $270.

Her 57 member team raised just under 31 thousand dollars. They came first in the charity challenge! Auntie C was the only Moncton Family representative in the 2014 Bluenose.

Her 3 adjectives that best describe the first attempt are overwhelming (sheer numbers of people taking part & cheering),scary (5k/3.1 miles more in distance) and amazing I describe the finish in the next paragraph.

Auntie C nearly didn't make it to the the 3 quarter mark she was in rough shape (blisters on feet & a big hill ahead of her) she "hit the wall" so her thoughts quickly went to the families she serves at the Moncton Family Room (apart of Ronald McDonald House) and knowing her own parents were waiting at the finish line. Oh boy Grammy/Grampy F. She did it and is very proud of herself! She was saying the announcer at the finish was talking about superhero strength as she crossed the pre finish they said "you did it in true superhero style and here comes Charlotte Flewelling from Moncton!" Grammy F turned to Grampy F and said did they just say Charlotte Flewelling from Moncton...they did! Congratulations on completing your first 10k (6.2 miles) as part of the Bluenose Marathon (largest marathon east of Ottawa)!

I'm very proud of my Auntie C ,

It's been a long time since I last wrote, I now have a brother named Tucker and love him to bits! He'll be 1 year old march 8th 2014.

Tucker won't have a dogster page...I'll still keep pupdated.

The picture that says get well soon auntie C is when my auntie C got sick and had to be in the hospital (as a patient) for the first time ever. She had surgery and was a trooper, Tucker got to visit her the day after she got home. I missed her. That's Tucker and I wishing her well. This all took place in August 2013 just after dad's birthday.

Then 71.5 days after Auntie C walked a 5k (3.1 mike) race in 50:54 (under 1 hour) , her first timed race in Moncton. Wahoo for AC! She's going to take part in another race in Halifax Nova Scotia in May 2014. She'll be doing a 10k (6.2 miles) for Ronald McDonald House Atlantic Canada. AC has been volunteering with them since March 22, 2013 almost 1 year! She's apart of Team Red Shoe, just like Ronald McDonald's boots.

She's getting excited to raise money for the families that use the house and 2 family rooms !

Love you all, I'm very glad that we saved Dogster. For the love of dog!

Merry Christmas.

Auntie c had us over last night and I gave her a huge surprise....I'm going to be a bro fur in spring of 2013. My family has deceided on a boy labradoodle. We have had this in the works for awhile but due to some complications on the male dogs part it hasn't happened yet. One good thing about the breeder that is helping us, she said we would be first for a pup in the spring litter. I'm going to be frustrated with this new ankle bitter. It will be OK, I survived my aunties N&T's jasper. Here's wishing you all a happy 2013 and I'll keep you pup dated.
