Arrival Story: Benny was a lil puppy when we met him, about 9 weeks old. His previous name was "Shaft". We just couldn't imagine keeping a name like that for such a spunky little guy. Somehow Benny just stuck...we were lucky enough to be considered by the rescue. Everyone wanted him! Bio: Benny is a San Francisco native. He goes to daycare every Friday so he can romp with his friends (big and small). I affectionately call him my rottweiler trapped in this little chihdoxie body. If he were a foot taller and 50 lbs heavier, he would probably plow through a big group of dogs given the chance. He appears small, shy, reserved and a typical 'yappy dog', but he definitely will surprise you when he starts running with dogs three times his size in the hopes they'll play with him!
