Arrival Story:
I lost my previous Bassett, Stash, to cancer in the spring of 2002. Then two weeks later I lost my job. I was originally not thinking of getting another dog, but after losing my job I reconsidered and thought, heck what better time to get a puppy. So I did and he is the most amazing pup I have ever encountered and honored to have in my life. Of course I still miss my Stash, but Humphrey helps me remember him with a smile and not the tears.
Bio:
Was very lucky to find Humphrey and be able to have a companion pet from the great people up at Topsfield in Vermont. Humphrey's dad, Sports Car, won best in breed at the 2004 Westminster. We haven't told Humphrey, yet. Don't want it to go to his head.
