Is Sam still alive?

So I had heard a couple of years ago that dog #1 (AKA Sam) was rescued and still alive and did not die after all, when Teddy was rescued. He was seen in the neighbourhood as few months after Teddy was adopted by us. I often wonder if this wonderful news is true?
I wonder if any Dogster member recognizes the first pup on this profile?
I would love to know if he is still alive and living a happy life.

If anyone is on Dogster from Plattsburgh, NY or the surrounding area, and you recgonize Sam (Dog #1) or even Rex (dog #2) I would love it, if you could pmail me and let me know?

Oh, Teddys brothers.....this is quite easy...
My tail of devotion to you 2 goes without saying, your 2 deaths will NEVER be in vain, as long as I have a breath and as long as I can tell people to STOP! DON'T BUY THAT PUPPY JUST BECAUSE HE HAS A NICE NOSE OR BECAUSE HE LOOKS SOOO CUTE SITTING IN THE WINDOW!!!!!! Think about later....when he is older, and needs space to play, and has lost that puppy face...will you still want him then?

My point.....THINK BEFORE YOU BUY A PUPPY. AND WHEN YOU HAVE BOUGHT THAT PUP, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE REST OF ITS LIFE. Tough luck trying to say you dont have the $$$ you don't have the time etc.....for the rest of its life.

Get stuffed...you had time for your pup before it GOT OLDER......

Anyway....I get a little p'eed about this topic.

PEOPLE... I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH! IF YOU ARE GOING TO GET A DOG, IT IS FOR ITS ENTIRE LIFE! NOT JUST UNTIL IT LOOSES IT'S PUPPY FACE AND THEN YOU HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF IT!!!!!!!

Your names!

I had kind of already decided that dog #1 would be called Sam. You look like a Sam. Dog #2 has been named Rex, with the help of my dogster group friends and pup pals! Now I feel as if these guys have the dignity they deserve! Go and run free Sam and Rex, go and play with my dog Ben and other dogs at the rainbow bridge!

I only wish I had a chance to know you guys better.

I have not heard from Teddy's foster mom, So I think I am going to give both of you guys names. You cannot be known as unknown dog one and unknown dog two.
Maybe the Dogster buddies can help me find good names for you!
I am going to see if anyone can help me with it.

What were your names? When I first gave you 2 guys your own page I just wanted you to be not forgotten. And I thought it would be a tribute to Teddy. but now I look at you and think, what were your names? Were you male or female? Teddy's foster mom is going to try to find out what your names were so that it can be properly entered. I mean, my gosh I would not want "unknown" to be put on my grave when I pass away. You guys at least deserve names. If we cannot find them, then I will name you both!
I hope my Benny is with you in dog heaven. I have a feeling he his. Stick with him, He'll show you around, you'll be alright.
Give him a slurpy wet dog kiss for me!
