The Life of a Princess

Today is a Great Day!!

My sisters finally took my jacket back off of me for the final time of the winter, so they say. Ok, so maybe it was a week and a half ago, and not today, but I like the dramatic tone of TODAY! That jacket was nice and warm, and I didn't even fight during the cold days to have it put on, but it's nice to go with the fur look again. The weather has been beautiful, and I loved the 76 degree weather last Sunday. Definitely didn't need my jacket then. When Bear went running with my sisters, they took me out too. I had a lot of fun sniffing around. I think I found one of the bunny trails, but my sisters called me off of it. They wanted me to examine all the flowers that are starting to pop out of the ground. I gave it my briefest attention, and then went back. Regretfully, I lost the scent by then.
I'm glad that the weather has improved though. I no longer have to search for a place where the snow isn't higher than me. I no longer have to have that blasted jacket on me. I'm free and unrestricted. Though, my oldest sister did mention something about a hair cut. Not sure I'm ready for that. Of course I never am. Why they torture me like that, I'll never know. Don't my bared teeth and quick snaps show how much I dislike my hair being trimmed. Why does it matter if I can't see out past my bangs or have my hair on my feet long? I never get to see if I would like those new looks, and I would love to. I don't see why she is cramping my style!!!
Ah well, if I can avoid the scissors, this day will be great. I'll probably curl up in a place in the sun and sunbathe for a while. This warm weather is awesome. I notice the boys and Lucy are getting a little warm already when they run, but I'm made for this weather. Little dogs are not supposed to go in the snow, unless they're really hot for some reason. Spring has finally came and I'm so happy I don't even want to think about that snow!!!

New Jacket

Those sisters of mine think they are so clever by dressing me in this new jacket!!! "Oh, Baby, you look so cute in your little jacket!" they tell me. I don't believe them. All this jacket does is makes me itch, and then I have problems itching because it is in the way!!!!! However, don't tell them this, the little jacket is nice when I am outside in the cold. I am not as afraid to go outside in the snow with my jacket on, but remember, DON'T tell them!!!!!!

I do like to make them struggle to put the jacket back on, since I like to take it off all the time. It is so easy!!!! I just slip my legs through and then my head. So easy!!! I'm free!!! I can itch my whole back now!! Oh, no! I need to get going. I think they found me without my jacket on!! Talk to you all later.

A Mad Dog!!

So, today, I'm scratching out like I like to do on my recliner, having the time of my life since my back and head were extra itchy today!!! All of a sudden, Zeus comes jumping up on the chair like this great, big black cloud of energy, scaring the day lights out of me! I don't know why, but apparently he thought I was inviting him to play :( I was still very itchy, but I had to stop and scare Zeus away from me. He doesn't seem to understand that I don't really like to play with the other dogs, especially since I'm at least 8 times smaller then them. Zeus pretty quickly left, and I was able to resume my scratch out. My parents and sisters seem to think it's pretty funny when I need to scratch. I suppose, my hair does like to stick straight up when I'm done, but I am not a dog to be laughed at!!! I do need to scratch out sometimes, but one day, my brothers are going to learn that I am not trying to entice them to play. Maybe I should try to play with them when they are itchy and see how they like it!
