Arrival Story:
Fate lead to us to Little Sissy. I was being tailgated and decided to turn off on a country road. About a half a mile down the road on a narrow bridge was this little dog standing with two feet up on the guardrail looking down at a deep ravine. I stopped the car beside her and she froze, not sure what to do. When we tried to pick her up she growled at us like" back off people". My wife told her " ok if you don't want our help we are going to leave". As she walked back to the car this unsure little dog jumped on the back of her legs as if to say " I've changed my mind . Please take me with you". After we got in the car she kissed my wifes hand and promptly went to sleep in a matter of about 2 minutes. The poor baby was exhausted. We checked every house in the the area, but no one had seen her before. We took her home, fed her, bathed her and pulled out all the wood ticks she had acquired. I called the local shelter and told them if anyone called looking for this dog they should call us. In the meantime we watched the lost ads in the newspaper. We were amazed as the days went by and she was never claimed. You could tell she was loved very much at one time. She was just so sweet. She was also housebroken and spayed. Just a wonderful dog. As time went by and it became clear that she was never going to be claimed, we become overjoyed. We had fallen in love with her immediately and were so happy that she was going to be ours forever. The name of the road we found her on was Holly Road, but we like to say she is the Angel we found on Holy Road. We feel blessed to have her.

Dang squirrels!

Yesterday we had a picnic in the back yard. There must have been close to a dozen black squirrels out burying nuts. I personally chased everyone of those varmints. I came close a few times, but they all made it up trees. I wait for them to come down, then games on again. After a couple hours of this I'm pretty sure they know now who rules the back yard. BOL!

Our great pal Yoshi sent us a wonderful box of gifts. Even though Yoshi herself wasn't included, we sure got some some swell stuff. We got some great tasting dental bones, milk bones, which are always great. We got a wonderful toy squirrel whom Molly claimed as her own and tries to rip apart and a beautiful hide- a- bird game that Molly and I both love to play with. What we treasure most of all is our friendship with Yoshi. She is one super Corgi. We love you Yoshi!!!!!!!!
