Flea treatments, and the fact that other dogs use 'her' favourite patch of grass
Favorite Toy:
Truffle gets a new toy everytime we go somewhere on a holiday. Current favourites include: Bob (a toy bull), Samson (a toy dog), Goatie (a toy goat), and Teddie - our first ever toy
Favorite Food:
Chicken with rice and vegies, dried kangaroo treats, and an occasional pig ear
Favorite Walk:
Anywhere with lots of interesting smells..... The park is good - but nothing beats the endless green hills out in the country
Best Tricks:
Always knowing when Honey from down the hall is getting out of the lift..... Truffle rushes to the door and savagely reminds Honey that she hasn't forgotten about 'the treatie incident'...
Arrival Story:
Truffle came from a breeder and was apparently the 'runt' of the litter. The breeder was so conscientious about her dogs health that we weren't allowed to visit the property until all the pups were 8 weeks old because parvovirus was in the area. When we first saw her she was chewing on the leg of her brother demanding that he play with her. She was so tiny!
Bio:
As a puppy she terrorised bare feet, discarded socks, and any available pot plant. We always talked to her and 'ruff-dogged' with her so she's very smart and still plays like a puppy. As she has gotten older her colours have changed quite a bit - but she's still just as gorgeous.
Every week day Truffle goes to 'play group' at the in-laws and hangs out with Zacky (a Schnauzer X), Kitty (a Maltese X) and Toby (a Chihuahua). They ruff-dog, lie in the sun, bark at the gate, chase birds, and have the occasional nap. It's a hard life - but someone's got to do it!!
