Best Tricks: Still learning ... stay tuned. :-) Arrival Story: Gracie was an owner surrender from Ohio to Birch Haven Rescue & Rehabilitation (BHRR), a giant-breed rescue in Ontario, Canada. I adopted her from BHRR on November 1, 2006, along with another Dane, Dodger (not given up by the same owner). She and Dodger have been settling in superbly with me and my two border collies, and are absolutely wonderful dogs. Bio: Gracie is still very much a pup in her mind and actions, and has exuberance galore. She is full of pep, but is also a very sensitive, exquisitely beautiful girl. She responds wonderfully to positive training methods, and has a very soft, gentle side that comes out more and more when given an opportunity to show that side. But she also has a VERY tomboy side that she lets loose when she's allowed to (which she gets plenty of opportunity to do ... OUTSIDE in the yard LOL). She and Brodyn love to play and rassle with each other, and she's even learning to tone it down in consideration of the fact that she outweighs him by several fold (and he's an old fart now, too)!
