My Apologies

Dear Diary,
I apologize, as I realise it has been a year or two since I last wrote. I have been very busy. Let me tell you some of the things I have done.
Most of this last year I have had many builders about my property. This displeases me. They spent all their time smashing things up and banging about with hammers, etc. I was incandescent with rage.
I was also very on edge and nervous, more so than usual. I do not appreciate the messing up of my routine.
I did see the changes to my house; I don't see the point, it all looks strange and smells odd. However, the strange and loud men are gone now and my routine is comfortable again.
I have also noticed recently that Mummy insists on washing my bed on a regular basis. It really irks me. When I get it back it smells funny and she never puts it back right, its always lumpy and uneven. It all makes me quite disgruntled.
It is very hot at the moment. I have had to de-fur one of my favourite tennis balls.
