Hello out there!

Hi dog and cats and humans,

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile. I've been pretty busy taking care of my mom and the rest of the family. I'm the boss around here and they all need to take my orders. :-)

It sure was stressful to move. As you may or may not know, I am allergic to car riding. I get pretty stressed out and sick. I had to take a lot of medications but I got through it. Ellie was my pillow part of the time. Then she got tired of me and tried to move away. I got her too hot. She has like a huge fur coat.

Now I'm just getting used to my new place. There's a big yard for me to play in. I got nervous the other day and ate some stuff out of the trash can. Back to my old tricks!

Ok better go off to nap. No one can believe I'm almost 12, it's because of all my napping probably that I stay so cute and youthful.

Hi pup and cat pals,

Gee my new sister really did it this time. She gave me some mange. I started itching because it's finally spread to me. And then I gave it to mom.

Now I am not allowed to play with other dogs for a WHOLE WEEK! Well, at least not in real life. I guess I can play on dogster.

I hope all this itching dies down soon.

how to get coal for christmas

HEy pups,

I do not recommend trying this at home! I realize it too late! One day my mom and dad went out. Mom had left something in a box that smelled good. Like peanut butter. I opened it up and it was lots of yummy stuff! I ripped it all up and ate most of it.

Mom and dad came home and they were so worried. Turns out I am not supposed to eat that stuff because it's toxic to dogs. It tasted so good! It was chocolate. I ate all but the spicy one. It was a lethal dose so I had to go to the ER vet and get a shot to vomit. I puked up lakes of chocolate. Then I was out of the woods.

I had to get charcoal in my belly but I refused to take it and the vet tech got it all over her and my fur. Then they brought me out to the waiting room and I drooled all over mom and a guy who was in the waiting room. And I barfed on mom's coat and pants. I finally got discharged.

But wait, it's not over! That night I was cuddling with mom on the bed and she woke up in the night to go pee. She smelled some poo. It was all over her pants! I had dribbled some poo in the bed. Mom and dad had to change all the covers at 4am.

Luckily I am ok now. It sure was hard work but I had a fun time. Mom says I am on Santa's naughty list but I already got coal so I can get a toy now too.

a tragic time

Hello everyone,

I feel terrible because I was just writing about how my kitty sister used to pester me. Well I miss it. She had a blood clot in her brain and died. It was sudden and we had no idea she had heart issues, in fact it was fine just a few months ago.

It is so hard for me to have this loss. For a long time it was just me and Zuki and Heather. We were a pack. Well with the humans of course. Heather used to think she was a dog. She would wait at the door while we took a walk. When we got another kitty she became slightly more catlike but still liked to pretend she was my puppy. I only minded when the claws came out.

I've been moping a bit. Mom and dad are sad too. It is so hard to have lost Zuki in August and now Heather this month. It is a lot to handle. I have to be strong for mom and dad. They need me.

Hi to my loyal fans,

Mom and dad say I am not quite myself lately. First all the chewing in plain site. Then the clinginess. Well, that is typical. The pouting at the park even more than normal.

I've also been growling to wake up in the night. I usually don't do that but for a few days I have been. Last night I didn't want to come back upstairs after I did a pee outside. I lay on Zuki's old bed. Mom came down by my side and lay with me. She brought out the blanket that still smells like Zuki and I smelled it. We lay there for awhile. Mom's eyes got wet. Then I was ready to go upstairs.

I think mom is trying to tell me that Zuki is not coming back. We both think that sometimes he will. I suppose it is natural for someone you miss and love so much. Zuki was my best friend. We had such a special relationship. We would wrestle and play tug-of-war. It was nice to do that. He even tried to do it a little in his last months.

I've been hanging with the kitties a lot. The little boy one likes me a lot. He doesn't pester me as much with his claws like my sister kitty Heather. She is in love with me. She finds me in the night and cozies with me but then she likes to kneed and it hurts! I have to try to avoid her if she gets too kneady.

Soon I go to doggie camp for awhile while mom and dad go away. Ellie my dog sister will be back at the lady who rescued her for a little while. Mom was worried I would be alone but she found out that there will be 8 other dogs there. Cool! Can't wait to run around with all of them.

naughtiness

Boy was I naughty today!

First I was caught red-pawed upstairs chewing on mom's dress shoe. red face Oops. I showed no guilt of course. She took it from me. Usually I wreck stuff when mom and dad are out of the house but since they have been here so much I have had to wreck stuff when they are still here! Mom says it was just from Payless so she didn't hold a grudge.

Second I beat up Ellie at the park. Ok not beat up but I bumped her hard and then knocked her over. Then I woofed and annoyed her so much she finally growled a little at me. I am trying to see how much I can annoy her before finally caves and plays with me. Mom and dad say I play too rough. Whatever!

And another thing I didn't do but I am thinking about...I've never been pup of the week or day or diary pick on dogster! I think I deserve it. I mean I've won photo contests in groups and even been princess of the year, month etc. But I want a whole Dogster award. I need to show Ellie how cool I am. Dogster, are you listening???

got my CGC (again)

Hey pup pals!

Yesterday I got my CGC again! Here's how it went down. We went to PAWSwalk yesterday. My foster sister Ellie Mae came too. She loved it.

We had a blast and took a 5K walk and a little swim too. Then I signed up for the CGC testing, which I have taken before and it recently expired. I needed it especially since I am a pit bull and I need to prove to the insurance companies that I am not a bad dog. Taking the CGC makes a pit bull in their eyes like a regular dog.

Anyhow, I passed the test with flying colors! Whooo-hooo! Guess what? I am also learning some new tricks even at age 10 1/2. I am teaching some to Ellie too.

And even better news...Ellie is gonna be my REAL adopted sister! Just gotta get the paperwork done. :-) We love her and she's gonna stay forever!
