Arrival Story:
Katie came from the Animal Protective League in July of 2006. She loves playing with Penny, Max, and Gracie. She especially loves rides in the country looking at all the horses and cows. One of her favorite things is looking out the window with Max and trying to get Max "going" so they can bark at anything moving outside. Katie can jump 6 ft straight up in the air. It's like she has springs in her legs. Katie is a good watch dog and spends all day out front waiting for visitors.

Bio:
The longer Katie lives with us, the more her personality is coming out. At first she was very calm and almost sad. She'd look out the windows watching cars like she was waiting for someone to take her home. I'm sure she has a story to tell about her life before the APL. If only she could talk. (About the Animal Protective League of Ashtabula Co. : Very good no kill animal shelter for cats and dogs. All the animals are well cared for. The dogs are brushed, their nails are clipped, and their teeth are cleaned. The dogs are walked regularly by volunteers. )
