To sit in my mommy's lap and sleep under the covers in bed.

Stuffed elf hat that squeeks

Favorite Food:
Mighty Dog

Favorite Walk:
To the car.

Best Tricks:
Shivering outside even when it's 90 degrees (so we'll feel sorry for her and let her back in).

Arrival Story:
Honey was in a cage at a puppy rescue at a local strip mall. She had just been spayed and was clearly not feeling well. She had barfed all over her cage and there were kids poking their fingers at her and other dogs barking loudly around her. I felt so bad for her that I asked to hold her while they cleaned out her cage. Honey never went back in that cage and came home with me.

Bio:
Honey was part of a "pure-bred" rescue but she's is a mutt of varied background. A cute mutt of course but not a purebred. Doesn't matter, she's pure cuteness.

Ursula has been here for about two months now and sometimes I like having her around, but I still want her to know who's boss (me). Ursula never gets mad at me but she's such a big oafie. When I'm in my doggy bed Ursula will just plop herself right next to me, sometimes sitting on me! How rude is that!! She's always following me around and the only time I get any peace is at night when I'm safely snuggled in bed with my mom under the covers and Ursula has to sleep on the ground on her mat. I do like her food better than mine and I can easily sneak a few pieces of her kibble when nobody is looking.

I hate all this snow but so far I've not had any accidents inside the house (like Ursula does) even though it's well below freezing outside and my feet hurt when I walk in the snow in search of that perfect spot.

Sometimes I feel maternal and will groom Ursula when she'll sit still long enough. So maybe it's ok having another dog in my house. As long as she knows that I get all the chew toys first.

I was an only dog in a household with 4 cats and 2 ferrets. Life was good. I got to sit in my owners lap, sleep in her bed under the covers with my head on her pillow. Then the new puppy came.

Ursula is a big puppy and I think she'll be bigger than me soon. Ursula has now taken over some of my lap time and she jumps all over me. She barks and bays at me all the time. I think she wants me to run but I don't want to. At least Ursula doesn't get to sleep in bed (she has a crate) and she's not allowed to eat my food (which is tastier than her's).

I wish she'd go home.
