Im Even Stronger!

Hello everypup! Im doing even better. I have not had a seizure in three days on my new medication. I am also getting back to my old ways. Mommy was so impressed this morning that I barked from my cage to ask to go outside. I am acting spunky again and remembered where my toys are stored. I am still a little groggy but I think she was worried I may have some permanent neurological problems from my injury. I showed her though! I have not forgotten I am a miracle and I plan to live up to that honor.
Each time I have overcome something in life my mommy adds on another name. Well, this time she says better be my last scare and earned me the ultimate name in miracle in chi history. I am now known as- Itty Bitty Tiny Wienie Little Baby Shorty LUCKY, JOY, MIRACLE, "THE PHENOMENON"

I am home and recovering!

To all my loving Pup Pals. I am so thankful for your thoughts and prayers. I am home and recovering from my accident. I am working hard to get back to my old self with some new medications and the vet says I have to wear a sweater until I can maintain my body temperature normally.
I am moving a bit slower and need a little help getting around, but I am determined and getting stronger day by day.
Mommy is so elated to have me home. I am on her lap now as she has read me all my Pup Mail. She has been smothering me with kisses and lots of love.
I am still recovering and am hopeful to return to my old self. Thank you for your love and supporting my mommy in this time of need.

Dear Santa Paws, this Christmas is very special. I may be little, but I have big dreams and maybe you can help make them come true. Mommy tends to spoil me all year round so I will enlist the big stuff to you.

My 6th Birthday!

November 15 th was my sixth birthday. This was a very special day for my mommy and I. We have a special bond. Mommy was there the moment I came into the world. She held my tiny body when the doctors made grim predictions. That day she made a commitment to me. I will have the best life Mommy can provide. She fed me, helped me grow, provided a watchful eye and keeps me warm. Mommy tells me each day I have with her is a blessing. I know I am a miracle. This is my sixth year with the prayer of many more. Thank you for all my birthday wishes. Love, Shorty

No more Teeth!

Well, after a long night of Mommy upset and worrisome, I am back home and doing quite fine.
Last night Mommy noticed a bottom tooth protruding from my mouth. After peeling back my tiny lip she was horrified to see I had lost many of my incisors and my bottom front fang was dangling by a thread.
Mommy has a hard time brushing my tiny teeth since they are comparable to the end of a tooth pick. My snout is short and mouth is the size of a peanut M&M.
The vet said Im stubborn and have not been cooperative with cleanings, I have little teeth with little roots that have a high rate of loss. I also like to lick my paws and Mommy's arm to soothe myself. My tounge rocked the teeth right out.
I am toothless on the bottom except for my molars. Mommy was forced to allow the vet to use a little gas and extract my loose teeth, but I got a cleaning on the rest. She said my tongue will hang out more now since there are no teeth to keep it in. I have to be strict with my pureed diet even more now than ever.
Mommy says I am still cute, but is getting used to my new look. She tells me it is just one more miracle to add to my list. Love, Shorty

Little ol me, by Short Stack

Today I register as one of the smallest dogs in the world and Mommy is not very happy about it. Mommy had to take me to the vet again tonight. My primary doctor was not available, so I had to see someone new. Upon weighing me in both Mommy and the vet seemed very suprised. After a few months of a prescription diet ,due to my problems with digestion, I had lost weight. I am now 1.87 lbs. Mommy is very worried, but I am trying out a new food with great results. I finished my first can and already look and feel like a new pup. I hope to be back to my old self, a hefty 2 lbs. or more with any luck, by the end of the week. Keep me in your thoughts.
