 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: November 11th 2001
Likes: She loves Children, although we don't have any, and belly rubs!

Pet-Peeves: Having her feet, ears or mouth messed around with. Not too happy when that happens. And her arch enemy is the vaccuum.

Favorite Toy: Her rope tug toy.

Favorite Food: Human Food...of any kind.

Favorite Walk: Her favorite walk is any walk.

Best Tricks: Speak and Shake.

Arrival Story: My husband and I were living in Arizona, and I wanted a cat. Well, my husband went out of town for a few days, and we had quite a storm. The windows and doors creaked, banged, knocked, and at some points, I could swear someone was knocking on the windows. Needless to say...I decided I wanted a Dog.
My birthday was coming up so my husband told me that I should go to the Vet Clinic and see what they have in the pound area. So, I went that day, and when I walked into the kennel area, and I saw Ruby (then Sarah), I knew it was love at first sight. The tech told me that Sarah was the only dog that had to be taken out of her run to make, so we let her out of her kennel, went outside, she squatted, and immediatly came over to me and rolled over onto her back at my feet. DONE! I was taking her!
I spent that evening convincing my husband that Sarah was the dog for us. We even went so far as to go through hundreds of doggie names before settling on Ruby, for her Red and White coloring.
We went back to the pound the next day, she got all her shots, her microchip, and her new name and we were able to bring her home. Officially, she's mine, but she's such a Daddy's Girl!

Bio: Ruby is a Husky/Lab mix bred to pull sleds in Alaska. I'm nto sure how she made it to Arizonza, but I'm glad she did! She's the light of my life.
