I am under the weather :(

Mommy was so worried about me today. She noticed that I was sleeping alot and didn't want anyone to touch me. I didn't want to go on a walk and I didn't even want my treats. That really worried her!! I came out once to see Daddy but when he touched my back, I cried. Ouch! So I went to the Animal hospital and the nice lady checked me out. This is so gross.....I had.....UGH....
clogged anal glands (barf). So she cleaned them out which was not a very comfortable experience. But I was happy after she did it and I felt better after getting a cortisone shot. I went on a short walk with daddy and I am eating and drinking. It will take a day or so for me to feel better- I'm sure. Mommy had to go back to work. Here's the equation..........
$120 lost wages + $110 vet bill = Mommy loves me ALOT!!!! And I love her too. BerWooWooWoooo.................

So Santa stuffed some doughnut rawhides in my stocking this year. YUM. I hid both of them. Unfortunately, mommy found one of them in the laundry basket so now I have to find a new hiding place.
Grandma got me a stuffed rabbit. It squeeks and I love it!!!! I already tore off one of it's little legs. It's all wet and slimy for a reason- those kids don't need to play with my toy since they have a ton of new toys to play with. So I've been making the bunny extra slimy and wet so no one wants to touch it. IT's ALL MINE!!!!
I've been walking extra, too. I think Daddy feels guilty for eating too many Christmas cookies. Anyways, I like the chance to be outside.
Gotta run...Mommy is looking for me and she has that brush in her hand. I'm just not in the mood to get brushed right now. SHHHhhh.... I'm hiding.

All I want for Christmas....

Mommy brought home a big old platter of xmas cookies. Yesterday morning, I took off the foil and snagged 2 cookies. GULP! They were wonderful!!!! Mommy ran after me, but I ate them before she could catch me. I'm fast. No one can catch me. I wonder what Santa will bring me?
I guess I should type him a letter. Here goes.

Dearest Santa,
Here's what I would like this year for Christmas:
1. A squirrel- real, not a fake stuffed one.
2. Food, treats, and more food.
3. A squeeky ball.
4. A smaller Kong.
5. More treats!

Please don't get me any dorky christmas sweaters. Too bad mom ran out of money, my xmas sweater doesn't fit me from last year. So I don't have to run around looking like a christmas tree!! Woo Hoo.....

And Santa, Don't forget....I've been good this whole year. I don't poop or pee on the carpet, and I haven't chewed up mommy's shoes in over 3 months.

Grrrrrrrreat weekend!!!!

Daddy and I had another WWF event this weekend. I growl and bite his butt and he picks me up and does a piledriver. I love it! He's the only one I can rough house with. Mommy just sits there and laughs at us.
I went on a run with mommy Saturday night, too. I made it a mile-whew! I'm such a good little jogging buddy. Except when I see a squirrel. Then it's all over.

Here comes the hot spots- AGAIN!!!

Ugh! I'm soooooo sleepy. I've started taking my Benadryl again. The insides of my back legs and my belly/pelvic region are itchy and I have some scabs! It's not as bad as usual. Maybe that's because mom started me on salmon & potato food 3 weeks ago and fish oil supplements. She sprays on this cortisone stuff and then anti-itch spray. She then finishes off with an anti-lick stick. My skin has never been softer. Today, I got an allergy shampoo treatment. Then she lathered me up with the anti itch stuff. I am eating well. But mommy says I look sad sometimes during the day. I didn't want to come out from under the bed last night. I hope and pray that this goes away soon. I really don't want to go to the vet for a steroid shot. And I hate those huge pills that I have to take. I guess mommy will take me in if the spots get worse. I have one dime sized area where my skin has turned black (on my leg)- I think it might be fungus. Mommy will put some hydrogen peroxide on it and see if it gets better. Man o' Man do I have problems with my skin. Woof :(

WTF! Where were the Wheatens this year???

Ahem, I was just wondering why there weren't any Wheatens on the AKF Eukaneuba championships this year? We are much cuter than the silly toy poodles! Those poodles sure look like they taste good! Woof :)

Snow, SNOW, SNNNNNNNOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!!

Woo Hoo! Lots of snow (and ice) for me to slide around in. Guess it's a good thing I have short hair right now. I get so matted after running around in the snow and dirt! Mom will probably give me a bath (UGH). But atleast I can have some fun today......Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee........................... ...............

UGH! It's back to the work week!

WEll, I am bored. Mommy has been coming home at lunch to take me for a walk, but as soon as the walk is over I hide under Ella's bed. I miss having everyone around all day. Now it's just me and the kitty. I did play with a stuffed angel ornament. Mommy reminded me not to touch the xmas tree. Whatever! It's shiny and there's all sorts of toys hanging off of the tree. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....................I just sprinted from the back of the house to the front of the house. Maybe mommy will bring home some more treats. I hate the new salmon and potato crap she has been trying to feed me. I know, I know....I have allergies so I can't eat the regular dog food. But I miss the beef!!! Woooooofffffff............... I'm outta here.

Today is great!!! I get to run outside at grandma & grandpa's house without my leash- yeahooo! It's much better than last night. I was sandwiched between two kids in the back of the car for 4 hours. They were fighting the whole way up. I thought I was going crazy. Crazy, I tell you. Anyways, the turkey smells great, but mommy won't let me eat any since she put me on a diet of salmon & potatoes. I itch alot, so she wants to see if my diet is causing the problem. I get a Benadryl occasionally to help with the itching. Thank goodness I don't have any hot spots. I hate having to go to the vet and get a prednisone shot. Ouch!
I accidentally pooped & peed on grandma's new carpet. I feel bad, but I have to mark my territory. Don't these humans get it? Weeeeeeee.....I'm off to play by the lake. I'll write more if I get the chance. Happy Thanksgiving Day everyone. Woof Woof!!!!

Daddy doesn't like my haircut....again!!!

Well.....I like my haircut, but when daddy came to pick me up from the groomer- he had a hissy fit. He called mommy on the phone to ask her how she told the groomer to cut me. Mommy said there was a picture of the cut in the car. Daddy went out to the car and brought it in to show the groomer. Mommy said that she showed the girl the picture, but I think the girl misunderstood her. Oh well....I got plenty of attention and I smell great. I was a little stressed out about the situation with daddy, though. He talked to the manager of the store and the manager gave daddy my haircut for free! When I came home, I thought daddy might be mad at me. So I hid under Ella's bed for awhile. Mommy made daddy go in the room and talk me out from under the bed. He wasn't mad at me after all. He gave me kisses and then rubbed my belly while I lounged on their bed. Mommy gave me some new treats that she bought. We watched Law & Order. After awhile, I decided to go to sleep on my favorite place- the hallway to the kitchen. I don't know why I like it there so much. Mommy bought me a nice bed, but I prefer the hard floor. Yawn......Goodnight.
