It's now December 10, 2006. I'm feeling great and having a blast. Oh, yesterday I went back to the doctor's again. I didn't like it very much this time because they "dipped" me. The doctor said it will begin to kill my mange and I'll get better faster; I guess that's the good thing about it.
Last evening I went with my mom and dad, my mom's son and his girlfriend and their pup Lucky to the pet store. It was great! I got a really nice pink sweater, (I'll have my mom take my picture and post it for ya to see), and a bright pink harness and matching leash. Wow, I wasn't too sure about that, but my mom took her time with me as she had let me try it on in the store. It wasn't too bad, I got to wander around a little while she held onto me.
Oh yeah, the doctor said I can't have my puppy shot's yet because I've got this mange stuff. She said we'll have to wait until that's cleared up because my "system" is not stable yet. That's ok, I don't like shot's much anyway.
Have a great one. Take care.

Remember last time I told you I went to the doctor's for a check-up, well they did it to me again. Two weeks later and I had to go back. I now weighed 5 lbs 10 ozs. My mom was really happy with that. I have a very good appetite. After being without food for so long I don't turn away much food.
The doctor looked at my teeth the first visit, *I forgot to tell you this*, that was how she determined that I was about 7 months old. Anyway, 2 of my puppy teeth did not fall out, so when I'm all fixed up and no more mange, they are going to take those teeth out. I sure hope it doesn't hurt. My mom told me I wouldn't even know when they did it. That's a good thing.
Except for me gaining a few more ounces, there was nothing more the doctor wanted to do with me at this point. She wanted me to keep getting stronger before they were going to "dip" me. Whatever that means.
Did you see my video? I have one big brother (Rock), and two big sisters (Kiara, and Ruby). I really love 'em but I have to be careful they don't step on me. My mom watches me really close when we're playing so I don't get hurt.
Have a wonderful day/evening.
Thank you again for reading.

I better get this written before I forget. BOL
Let's see this is December, and it was see now I forget, anyway, I was rescued/saved by my mom and dad about 4 weeks ago. I don't know why I was allowed to run free, but I am only a puppy *7 months old* when they found me. My parents were on their way home, and I was in the middle of a 4 lane road trying to get something off of it to eat. There was this lady jogging up the road towards me. When she was near to me, she was calling me and I started to go to her, at the sametime she was coming towards me too. I didn't like that at first, just scared me a little and I walked really fast away from her, but lucky for me not back into the road. The lady (my mom) stopped and bent down and was calling, "here puppy, come on". I loved the tone of her voice and could not resist. I walked a little fast to her all hunched over and nervous. She talked to me in a soothing voice, and before I knew it I was in her arms and getting into their van. They took me home.
As you can see by my pictures that were taken the first day they got me home which was a Sunday, I was pretty sad looking. They knew immediately I had Demodex Mange. The next day they took me to the doctor's. Ooooo, I was nervous with that, but they had to have me checked over. Yes, the doctor said I had that mange, but overall I was going to be fine.
The doctor weighed me, and I was 5 lbs, 4 ozs. I was given an antibiotics, some worm preventive stuff, and medicated shampoo for a bath. I remembered what a bath was 'cause when my mom got me home that was like the first thing I had. I still don't like them much.
That's it for this entry. Please read on.
Thank you.
