Arrival Story:
Boo's owner didn't want her and surrendered her to a local pound. The adorable dog with the Lab face and Basset hound legs caught my eye on petfinder.com. I emailed the pound to ask her weight since my building did not allow dogs over 40 lbs. When I didn't get a response from them, I put in an application to adopt another dog from a humane society. I was disappointed when someone else adopted him first, but then I got an email from the pound saying Boo was less than 40 lbs and did I want to come see her? (Boo has since ballooned from 29 to 38 lbs, cutting it close, lol.) I brought Boo home from the pound that day. It was meant to be.

Bio:
Boo definitely has black Lab in her, but I'm not sure what else. She's got adorable stumpy Basset Hound legs, but she's only 38 lbs so maybe she's also got some Beagle or Dachshund in her. As my brother says, she looks like her mom was a Lab and her dad was a Dachshund with a ladder ;-) She's got one white toe and a little white spot on her chest. When Boo first came home from the pound, she was extremely timid and afraid of everything. She's still shy, but she has come a long way. She loves everyone and is very loyal and gentle.
