Adopt 08 Contest

Hi I am Scouty Boy and here is my story:
I was surrendered by my first "owner" along with 15 other cattle dogs. I was really skinny and starved, there wasn't enough food, and I was really afraid of the outside world. I was only six months old when I was rescued but I was already missing teeth from malnutrition and I had a big hole in my tongue, most likely from getting attacked over food. Thank Dog New Hope Cattle Dog Rescue saved me! I had a wonderful Foster Mom that gave me lots of love and helped me not to be so afraid. Now I am in my forever home where there is lots of love and lots of food and I am a very happy boy! I am still scared of strangers, I hide in the closet for awhile when people come to the house but I am getting braver every day.
