Arrival Story:
Mom had lost a puppy to distemper about nine months before I can to live with her. She really wasn't even looking for another one but she got an odd email from petfinder.com and just decided to glance around. She saw my baby picture on the website and it was love at first site. She drove two and a half hours to meet my foster Mom half way. My foster Mom had bottle raised me from about the time I was two weeks old. My doggy Mom was feral and would only let one person near my brothers, sisters and me. But last we heard Mom had calmed down and was a great house dog now!

Bio:
When I was about one and half years old I was stolen right out of the yard. The people who took me turned me into an animal shelter about two weeks later and I got to go back to Mom. Never really did figure out what it was all about but Mom looked hard for me and didn't even know that I had been stolen until I had been found. Mom thought that I had ran away. I like to jump the fence but I know my way home!! We were all just very glad for me to be home. ~~~~~~~~~~~June 08 - We have just found out that Bear has the early stages of Hip Dysplasia. I have worked for a vet and now at a shelter so I knew what to look for and was pretty sure what was going on. But it was confirmed by a vet on Friday (27th). He is only 3.5 now so I am really concerned. Hopefully we can managed it well for a LONG time.
