A perfect weekend is on it's way....

Tomorrow is a special day. Wana know why?? Well the very lovely Abby is coming down to the lake house! Oh and her mom & sister are coming down also & her 2 brothers on Friday. They are all staying till Sunday afternoon. I can't wait becuase I LOVE Abby, mom even calls her my girlfriend! Now to clear a few things up yes Abby is a human, and some people might even call her a "teenager". Abby & her family are good friends of my family's and also our neighbors. Her little sister is my twin human sister's best friend! Abby also pet sits me & the gang when my peeps are gone. She is so amazing. Mom says I should probably find a girlfriend of my own species but I don't think so, Abby & me are ment to be!! I love following her around, bringing her toys, protecting her from evil, and "rescueing" her from the lake even though she says she is just swimming but I know better!

I have really missed her because the family & I have been at the lake for two weeks now! I have also missed the cats, kinda. But dad is going home today and coming back on Friday afternoon (with Abby's brothers) and she is going to bring kit-cats. I tried to tell mom to leave the cats at home but she said no! I am afraid that Oobbie (being the snuggle boy he is) might try to steal my girl! But I will not let that happen! I am very good at protecting "my" Abby, hey last year at the lake I succesfully protected her from the scary danger that is her twin brother. They where standing in the living room talking to the rest of the peeps and her brudder was standing to close to Abby so I strutted up to him and barked & growled until he stepped away from "my" lady.

This weekend is going to be pawsome! But the weather man is there is a 30% chance of rain on Saturday & Sunday! Eeeep!!!!!! So every pup make sure to do your "rain, rain go away dance" for me!

It's coming..........

Well the furmily came home yesterday after being in a magical place called "Florida" for a week. And guess what? They are leaving tomorrow!! Grrr. They are leaving me and the kit-cats tomorrow around 9am,to go drive to St.Louis and are staying there for a bit and then driving to Indiana to go pick up my new pug sister Lacey. And they are doing all of this in a weekend time because they are coming home Sunday maybe Monday (only if they get behind on schedule). Sigh. So this is my last weekend as a spoiled only doggy fur-child!!! Now the peeps did a lot of looking especially at shelters for a pug puppy, but couldn't find one. And a puppy would work best in our lives. Also the breeder they chose is very responsible and is not a back yard breeder or a puppy mill breeder. Also do not worry we know what we are getting ourselves into with a pug. Mom had a pug growing up, Todd, and loved him dearly. The humans also did a lot of research on the breed to get ready. Dad still wanted to get a male great dane but that would not work!! I can sometimes be agresive with big dogs especially pushy, large, male dogs. So that is why I am getting a littler sister. Mom is so excited, but of course will loves us both the same! Though I will be Mr. Jealous and try and show off and such but mom knows that I will be a good big brother.But she is spoiling me a little bit more because my new sisfur is coming soon. Also my beloved pet sitter Abby is going to watch me for the rest of the weekend!! WOOHOO! Mom calls Abby my "girlfriend" because I have the biggest crush on her & will do anythig fur her! When she goes to the lake with us I hate it when she jumps into the water it scares me! She will be swimming around in the lake water and then I get worried so I jump in pull her to shore, even though she isn't drowning :) . Well anyway Abby will spoil me some more while they are gone. Yesterday she gave me a giant loofa and I love it! I already have killed it....just a little BOL. And the funny thing is I have a big green loofa dog and mom had already bought Lacey a tiny green loofa! BOL. Well I am going to chew on my big loofa dog and am going to snuggle with my pawrents.

Pug,Pug,Pug.....WHAT ABOUT ME AND MY NEEDS!!?

Pug.Pug.Pug. That is all I hear! Pugs on the TV, Pugs as the screen saver on the computers, Pugs brought up in conversation, and pug magazines! Sigh. I mean I don't mind getting a sisfur but come on! What happened to worl revolving around me huh? Well at the moment I am still king woofer of my domain! WOOF WOOF!!

Pug-a-rific!

Ok, it's fur sure! A little pug SISTER will be joining us sometime this year. Mom has looked online at rescues but saw nobody she really fell in love with but there is a very good chance we will be getting a baby pug from a breeder, mom has kinda deciced on a litter that will be born on the 23rd of this month (MY BARKDAY!!). But of course it will be a couple of months before brining baby home, it will actually probably be summer break by then! *GASP* I hope the puppy doesn't take any lake time away from me! I do not mess around with my lake time!

Brudder or sisfur? Pug or great dane?

Well there has been some disagreement in my house. Good though, well the pawrents and the kiddos have been kinda wanting another dog. Now daddy loves his "trophy dog" but he always wanted a great dane and someone we know is trying to find a home for him. But mom doesn't know if we can handle 2 big dogs let alone a great dane! Plus she says I get along better with small dogs, one of the reason why she wants a pug. She has gone through some other breeds but mom had a pug growing up, and loved him plus she can see a pug fitting into our life. The kid's birthday is coming up and of course they think they are getting a pug puppy(big hint: they aren't BOL). And then they are thinking of looking at a rescue or just going to a breeder, because the family kinda wants a younger dog. What do I think about this? I am pretty good being the only k9, I mean I love going to the dog park (went yesterday! woot) but I wouldn't take any woof home with me. ;)

Hey dudes & dude-ettes. First of all I have been doing VERY well lately. Sorry though I have not updated you though. Well I am going to the lake tomorow! Humom will be home sunday I am staying with dad a lil ones for a little bit longer. Also my dearest Abby (human) and her sister and mom are coming also! Last year it was soooooooooo much fun. Then her brofurs(she has 2) and her dad will come Friday. They are all leaving the day mama is. I am doing my boogie dance because I cannot wait. 3 hour caride, lake house, LAKE, and ABBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBYYYYYYYYY!

Iam a very sick right now.............and need your prayers- sweet pals.

Hi everywoof.I am need of all of your prayers. I am very sick right now....
I guess I should start from the begging.
Mom & the family left for Florida on 3/22/08 at night. They dropped me off at puppy's play pen (which I have been to many many times, they are a very nice place to board us woofers) well the family came back Friday early morning. And after they got home, greeted the cats, got settled, and unpacked a little bit mom went to P.P.P to go pick her golden boy up. I was happy to see her wiggling my body like crazy, a normal habbit for me;). She could tell though that I was a bit not myself but she ignored it just thinking she had just been away from me to long. I came home greeted my dad, gave my 8year old furless twin sisters big smooches, and gave the cats a nice sniff down.But it wasn't very long till mom relized how weak I was, and then the barfing started, I also had diarrhea. I first barfed around 5 times that morning by the end of the day I barfed a total of 8 to 10 times, and what really got mom worried was that a few times she saw blood in my vomit:(. She didn't bring me to the vet right away thinking I might have been excited or somthing, but it was later in the afternoon that mom decided I had to be rushed to the vet.I was in bad pain she could tell. She tried to get me up to go to the car which is normally not a huge deal because I adore car rides but I couldn't move.She had to get daddy to help her put me in the car, then she raced off to the vets. Were they took one look at me started putting fluids in me. I was very dehidrated, and mom told everything to doctor as everyone rushed around helping me.I stayed there till Easter (yesterday) afternoon, were mom learned some even more frightening news. She knew I was VERY sick but the vet told her that there was a very big chance that she would have lost me that night. The vets still don't know what happened, but mom talked to the people @ P.P.P and they said a few other dogs have had the same problem but none have been as bad.Mom thought at first it might be something to do with my latest health problems:I went to the vet a few weeks ago for shots & found out I have a allergy to my food which is making my eyes water & I have a very bad ear infection (have to take medication for both)but they are getting better.I am so happy to be home but I am still very sick I can eat but just a little bit of some of the food the dogtor gave us.Mom was so scared she almost lost her baby boy, after all I am only 3 years old & haven't had a long life like every dog deserves.Well just want to thank you all in advance for reading my very long entry.And for any support or information you sweeties can give us *hails everywoof* Mom is still at a loss of what she would if she would looses me, shes not ready for that yet and wants me to get better very very much!

I turned three!......On 2/23/08!?

Yep, I am three years old! But mommy forgot to bark about it here on dogster. With pink eye and the flu bug going around the house she hasn't found anytime.Oh and I am almost forgot, about a week or more ago at the vet they told mom I have a bad ear infection. But I have been taking meds and it is clearing up nice.But I also have to eat a special different food and take another pill because my eyes water when I eat.The doc. says probably from a food allergy! Good grief.But I will make sure I get to go to the dog park and get special treats and actually post about it on dogster next year! Speaking of birthdays my twin furless sisters turn the 9 on Monday! They are having their b-day party tomorow at the indoor new community center pool! I begged mom to let me go. Food,water,kds.....count me in baby! But she said NO! Can you believe the furless?Well back to me ;) my new pal Lady made me feel extra special tonight by giving me a virtual birthday hat! She must have seen my bark in the forums! Thank woo Lady!
Well I am off to snooze away the night!

A golden day!

I had a pawsome day! I played around in the hail that lay on the ground and the slushy mud.I played with my girls and their friends for a while. After that I took a nice nap in the sun, but once I saw lots of movement I followed my girls downstairs.They turned on the puppy bowl! Which I watched for ehhh maybe around 15 minutes or so, I stared at the Tv. I just love watching animal planet, I really do!I really got into the game! Cocking my big golden head with the squeals and grunts of the pups, and letting out a good ol' woof when one of the pups let out a bark or went on a barking rampage.Well after that Daddy tand the girls needed to go to walgreens to get medication (Ellie has pink eye and Stella has a ear infection and is starting to get pink eye! Poor gals!) and then they had to go to Petco (wich is right next door) to get dogtreats and dog food.The girls piled in the car and their neighbor and furiend Grace squirmed in after them. Then dad strapped the blue leash to me and jumped eagerly into the car and shuffled myself to my favorite spot, the middle seat! I was a good boy and stayed in the car while they went in the drugstore. Then off to Petco! I sniffed around the girls skipping and squeeling. Then I got to pick out a new toy. It is a fuzzy ball with little frayed pieces of clothed tying it together. As soon as we got home the girls played with me and my new stuffie, it was grand fun :D
Well *yawn* this has been one golden day. So off to end it with a nice golden nap.

*sigh* Banyan went to his new forever home yesterday. (you can find more information about it on his page & in his blog) I miss him already.Somtimes I look for him.But I do enjoy being a only dog, kind of. But mommy says there is a very good chance when she brings me to the dog park we will see Bany and his new dad! Because his new papa asked what doggy parks we bring him too, and mom of course told the nice man.
