Arrival Story:
We did about 6 months of research to figure out what the perfect dog was for us (friendly but not dominating, playful yet really a lapdog, apartment-friendly, good with other animals, no shedding, no barking, goofy looking, etc.) and french bulldogs were all we had left on the list when we were done. Luckily, a good friend's best friend is a dog trainer and he recommended us to a breeder he knew. Baku was 4 days old when we first talked to her...waiting to get him was the longest two months of our lives!

Bio:
His name is pronounced Baah (like a lamb sound) Koo (rhymes with 'poo'). :) A baku is a benevolent Japanese demon that inhabits sleeping areas. If you call out "Baku, devour my nightmare!" they are supposed to eat your bad dreams and leave you with good fortune.
