I found my dog through a breeder of AKC show-quality Shibas. Since Bunny did not meet AKC color standards, his would-be owner did not want him. Then his first owner abused him and he was placed with a store owner who rehabbed him. I was more than happy to step in and add him to my family.
Bio:
His bloodlines are basically devoid of cream Shibas, so his coloring is genetically rare.

My mommy says I have found a new home! I am so scared because I don't know what that means. I can tell mommy is scared too. We have never been apart very long before. I wonder what my new family will be like. I hope they like me, and play with me, and let me chase things.

Now that I'm a big boy, I decided to learn some new tricks. I can now wag my tail, sit for treats and bark to go out and come in. I also learned how to make a real funny squealing noise when I yawn! I don't chase the cats anymore, but I am still chasing rabbits that come into our yard. Mommy said now that I'm a big boy, I don't have to go to the doctor so much - only every two years now. If I get a boo-boo or something, mommy takes care of it unless she doesn't know how. The other day I ate way too much grass and started puking a lot. Mommy gave me some Pepto-Bismol, and my tummy felt better. I'm so glad to see my old and new friends on this wonderful site!

I had my 3rd birthday this year, and mom called me an ADULT! Can you believe it? I've always been her baby boy, her baby bunny, her bunny hunny. What is this world coming to??? I wonder what being an adult means. I hope I still get to run and play, chase things, sleep and get my belly rubbed. Oh, I'm so worried. Well, snow will be falling soon, and I can live up to my namesake. Adults do get to play in the snow, right?
