Arrival Story:
Spikey was dropped off like unwanted used furniture with his gest girlfriend Hayley when his despicable owners were moving out of state and decided that the dogs were not coming with them. That shelter was terrible!! both of them were terrified, and were "marked" (you know why) because they supposedly showed cage agression and biting behaviour. this shelter was just awful, and i would have been afraid and agressive if dumped there too! they also gave him a dreadful case of kennel cough that he is still recovering from, hopefully soon he will be better!! our rescue pulled them in order to give them a second chance in a peaceful foster home to show their true colors, and so spikey came to me! unfortunately, he was separated from his life partner hayley, but she is an hour away in our foster care as well (we are national!) and i'm petitioning to get them reunited in my house!! we just love spikey, he's so sweet and gentle and loving!

Bio:
SPIKEY has been adopted! after recoviering from a terrible bout of pneumonia, this handsome boy has goneto his forever home, where he is king of the castle!! he's loving the good life! Spikey is a doll, loves other dogs, loves all people once he gets to know them, and has just been a joy! Spikey is a darling, distinguished, extremely handsome minpin with elegant lines and soulful brown eyes. He's just the sweetest snuggler, he bonds immediately to girls and will follow you around for pets and affection, to sit on your lap, and loves to just be near you. He really is a handsome specimen of the min pin breed, and looks the most like a miniature doberman that I've ever seen! He's not a barker, and is quiet when my apartment complex neighbors come in and out. He is also completely potty trained! He does growl a little bit sometimes with strangers, but once he gets a chance to sniff them he is fine and very friendly! Spikey would make a great addition to an experienced min pin home with no small children - he's a lover, and will make his family very happy!
