Freddie loves when we fill his kong with peanut butter.

Favorite Food:
Freddie is on a raw diet, so he likes just about anything we give him. He LOVES turkey legs, salmon, and oreo cookies from Petsmart

Favorite Walk:
Freddie loves Poets walk. It's a park in Rhinebeck that is dog friendly. They have nice views of the river.

Being cute and fuzzy

Arrival Story:
My husband went to a shelter on Long Island to adopt a puppy. He said he gave Freddie "squishy face" and got slurped. He knew he was supposed to adopt him right then and there!

Bio:
Freddie has had a few health scares in the past few years. He has Autoimmune Vasculitis which caused him to lose most of his fur a few years ago. Most of it has grown back, but he still has a few bare patches. He also had a corneal ulcer this summer. He was a real trouper with the drops we had to give him and the cone he had to wear for MONTHS.

Our little monkey dog got sick suddenly last week. His breathing became labored. My husband brought him to the vet for tests Thursday and we were told he might have Cushings disease. We brought him back Saturday 12/23 for x-rays and the vet said he had several masses in his lungs. His wind pipe was being pushed over and the combination was making it hard for him to breathe. The vet thought we had time to get him to a specialist, but Freddie died in our living room last night. I suppose it's a good thing we haven't had a very cold winter so far as we were able to bury him in a nice spot.
