We had JUST bought our house and my best friend, who is an animal control officer, called us and told us she had an adorable chocolate lab pup that we HAD to have. It had been surrendered and was going to be sent to the pound.

Sammy has been with us since May '06. He has had two surgeries to have lumps removed, but always bounces back quickly!
