Arrival Story:
My mom told me that I could get a puppy for christmas and I wanted a Dachshund. So about a week ago I started doing heavy research on the internet about breeders and the actual breed itself and decided that was for sure the breed I wanted. So I started looking and originally wasn't supposed to get one until christmas. And I put an ad out on hamptonroadscheapplace4pets to let everyone know I was looking for a Dachshund puppy and to see if there were any breeders in my area. Anyway, a woman saw my ad and emailed me asking me if I would be interested in a 6 year old Dachshund she had rescued and was trying to find a home for. When I heard some things about him, I decided to talk to my mom about getting him and we drove up to see him. She had told me that he had been rescued by her a week prior and that she rescued him from a breeder that had kept him in a cage outside for 5 years of his life and found out he couldn't produce puppies so she decided to get rid of him. And when I got there and saw him he was just so cute and so people-friendly that I knew I couldn't say no. And the funny thing was that I was actually looking for a female puppy Dachshund and came out with a 6 year old male Dachshund....but I'd do it over again in a heart beat! The End!

Hi! I'm Frankie!! And I was just wondering what you thought about this....how about dogs being allowed everywhere....even grocery stores?? I mean if they are proven to be well behaved dogs then I don't see what the big deal is. Humans have hair just as dogs have fur....so if that's one of the problems then I just don't understand. Us dogs should be allowed everywhere with our doggie parents! Dogs have feelings too ya know! But people just treat us like we're disgusting to them and immortal almost in some ways....I just don't understand it.
Send me a message and tell me what you think...

Thanks!!
