New Doggie

OK NOW! Mommy got this new doggie from the local Humane Society. He is what they call a cockapoo. I don't care what they call him, he is just too much bigger than me and constantly sits in my mommy's lap which infuriates me. I'm supposed to be number 1 for I was here first. Sometimes we fight over chewies and sometimes we try and play together but it is tough having to compete with another doggie. We go to the dog park together and I am glad for him to run off all that energy and just have him come home and sleep!

The Friendliest Doggie Ever

There isn't a person or a child that Duncan doesn't love. He MUST greet every person that comes near him. Everyone who meets Duncan, loves him and wishes they had a doggie just like him. He is such a character and into everything...you name it. He follows me around and is my velcro doggie. He is ssssoooo into socializing during class and not paying attention. We are going to enroll in an Attention and another Beginner's class to refine what he already learned. He was such a puppy with a short attention span when we took Beginner's class before. Is this class ready for Duncan?

Keep Training Me

Mommy got a wild new leash that wraps around her waist and has clips on it. She can change the length of the leash and give her a chance to maneuver all over the place w/o having a leash get in the way. She is spending lots of time with Kibbles and me to train us. Whatever I do, Kibbles follows suit. I can now sit down on command, bark, and walk w/o the leash next to mommy. She says I am doing great! We are still going to train on Saturdays with the rest of the group. The more training, the better plus I get to socialize with all my pals.

My mom keeps trying to cut my bangs and comb the mats out of my HAIR!
I cannot stand it! I try to let her know I am serious by pretending I am going to bite her if she continues but she just keeps on, keeping on. HELP!

Hey guys, I don't know where I learned this trick but I can bounce back and forth (several times) a chewy or toy to my mom. She returns it and we do this trick constantly. She is fun to play with so I sleep right next to her all night. I help keep the bed warm.

What a bunch of cuties here in this new class. Some old pals from the puppy class are with us too. I really don't want to learn anything but rather socialize and play with everyone. Kibbles, at home, doesn't like to play much. Well, I am trying my best to learn some of these techniques. I get scared when mommy walks around me when I do a sit or down. I don't know where she thinks she is going without me! IT'S ALL ABOUT ME!

I passed my puppy class and will start the beginner's class next month. Mom said I did good except I still cannot get "down" even with a treat. We will practicesome more especially with greenies.

Too Much Homework

Went to my second doggie class. The instructor had us real busy. He also had alot of homework for mommy to do with me. Doesn't he know that I am only a puppy just trying to explore the world. This is way too hard for me to concentrate on. I'd rather check out the other doggies.

Kindergarten Class

Saturday I started my first puppy class. Boy, there were lots of doggies there and some pretty nice looking female dogs. I was more interested in meeting everyone than listening to this person tell my mom what to do. We tried some things together and mommy had to be on her knees to work with me. Guess she wasn't expecting that and it hurt on the ground. On Sunday she did the same thing with me so I guess it must be important. Can't wait until next Saturday because I love all people and the more doggies, the better.
