Arrival Story:
Diego was a rescue greyhound from Seabrook, NH. He was in foster care for several months, because he was difficult to place. He's a textbook alpha male, aggressive and mouthy, and didn't get the memo that greyhounds are supposed to be shy and placid. He came to us in January, 2000.
Bio:
Diego's racing name was Garibaldi, but it had to be changed. His foster family called him Baldi, or Baldi Butt; this was unacceptable for such a dignified boy as this. Sure, he had some missing fur on his hind end, but that's no reason to tease him.
Sadly, our magnificent boy departed this life on March 21, 2008 following a brave battle against osteosarcoma.
