streets on which he gets to walk and run and explore off-leash. especially if they have other dogs with whom he can rub noses and sniff butts.

convincing his mom and dad to turn on the A/C for his sole comfort
Arrival Story:
My husband wanted a show-quality labrador. i just wanted a dog.
We got Mikhail from a reputed breeder, intending him to be trained for the show ring. but as a puppy, he gained weight too fast and he kept slipping on our apartment's ceramic floors. ultimately the joint in his right back leg didn't form properly due to the constant slipping. so, he never ever stepped into a show ring. dog handlers and trainers who are not aware of Mikhail's leg problem, still ask us why he has never been 'shown'.
Bio:
Mikhail is now a thoroughly pampered and spoiled 37 kilo , dopey little goof ball who gets his way most of the time. He has a very calm temperament, even for a Labrador. But there is an extremely stubborn streak in him, when he goes for his walks. he'll plant himself in the middle of the road and refuse to budge until he's greeted all his friends, both human and canine.

Browny died.
we think it was a hit and run on 15th august.
there were no obvious signs of injury. he looked like he was sleeping.
we assume and hope that his death was instantaneous.

Sherry/Bobbi's family are thinking of breeding her. i've talked to them about how irresponsible it would be regarding the puppies. i tried to convince them to go for neutering/spaying. they said they would discuss it and let me know.

Daddy and I are thinking of adopting a rescue.
We went to see one last month. Daddy fell in love with him immediately because he reminded him of you. It was difficult for me because of that. anyway, the family ultimately didn't want to give him away.
the dog seemed very well-cared for health and grooming-wise. but he's not allowed in the house and he's kept in a cage or chained most of the day, in a covered driveway. at night he's free to roam the property.
