Bio:
My girl wanted a dog her whole life but could never get one because of her family traveled very often and because she knew that she wanted to go away for college. When she graduated, she talked it over with the family and they decided that one of two breeds would be for them - American Eskimo (moi!) or Alaskan Klee Kai (the miniature husky). My girl found a breeder she liked and when they had puppies, she was going to get a male from them... but something about the pictures didn't "feel" right - to her or her family. Then she was contacted about a male AKK puppy she might be able to have... and though she was excited about the prospect, something still didn't click. She hadn't wanted to get a puppy online, but she saw my pictures and contacted the breeder within an hour. She was absolutely in love with me! Her family felt the same way - right away they all agreed "That's our dog!" I had some delays getting to them because I needed to be shipped from the Midwest at the end of July, and I can't fly if it's warmer than 80 degrees F. Finally I was able to come home... a little older than 9 weeks. When I first arrived, I was 4 pounds, teeny tiny, very meek, and a bit of a nipper! In fact, my mom, my dad, and my girl all used to put their feet up in the family room for fear that I would come over and sink my little puppy fangs into their flesh! Within days the habit was gone, but they all look back at that time fondly and laugh. Now my family loves and adores me and I am very much a part of their family - complete with my own chair at the dinner table and my own placemat! Ha ha! My family says that I make their days bright and provide them with endless happiness. Oh, and they think I may be part white lion - but sh, don't tell anyone! :)
I am a toy/miniature eskie and currently weigh 10 pounds. We had a joyful meeting at the airport and I have been frolicking around my new home with my family and TERRORIZING them with my puppy antics ever since!
