The nerve of the cats I live with!!

Okay, so I wrote about my new bedroom the other day. Apparently it is even better than I originally though because I have to worry about the cats getting in there!

Zelda, the only sibling I ever liked, now likes to camp out in there and sleep all day!! Frankie gets in there as well, but she only stays for a little while. Both of them will stay in there even if I stand there and yell at them to GET OUT!! They just look at me as if it were THEIR bedroom!!

Oh, and then when the kittens are allowed to roam free, then I have to contend with Meisha as well!! Hmmm, see a pattern here?! It may just be a GIRL thing!!

I guess it is because Mommy made it SOOO comfy cozy in there with my thick fleece bad and pillow, and a fleece blanket over the top! I love it in there, so I can understand why the cats do to....I just don't LIKE them in MY BEDROOM!!!

I got a new bedroom!!

Okay, so it is really just a bigger kennel, but it is mine and where I sleep, so it is my BEDROOM!! I got it because Ginger was a nutty dog and chewed through her plastic crate! What's that got to do with ME getting a new bedroom?! Well here goes teh long story....

Mommy and Daddy decided Ginger need a metal crate. Mommy decided to put an ad saying she wanted one on craigslist.org before she bought a new one. Sure enough people had wired dog crates that they no longer needed for much cheaper than buying one new!!

They got one for Ginger, and when Mommy was responding to guy with one that was too small for Ginger, she remembered that she and Daddy had talked about buying me a bigger bedroom. I love to spend time in the big dog crates where I can really sprawl out! So instead of telling the guy with the smaller crate no, Daddy went to get it for ME!!

It is HUGE!!! I got it yesterday, and today Mommy made me a nice fleece bed to fit in the bottom. Boy, it is like a cloud in there, all thick and fluffy and cushy! It is purple and my bed from my old room makes a nice pillow for me! They cut a piece of fleece to cover my bedroom with, so I don't feel so exposed while I get dressed, so it is just PERFECT!!

My only problem with my new BIGGER bedroom is my siblings....I used to have to chase my cats out, and now I am afraid I might have to chase my dogs out as well!!

Zelda, oh Zelda....wherefore art thou oh Zelda?

Yesterday my folks took my beloved, Zelda, to be spayed. I missed her terribly while she was gone, and very relieved when they brought her home. Alas I can not see her or be new her or shower her with my love. She is confined and in a quiet area until she is better. I am so frustrated without her though! Today I have growled and snarled at just about everyone except Mommy. I even snapped and snarled at Daddy. They love me though, and Mommy just picked me up and held me close to comfort me. I don't mean to be any meaner than normal, I just miss my Zelda!! I guess I will make hash marks inside my crate so I can count the days until my Zelda and I are reunited!

How did I not know how wonderful....

Boy oh boy! When I moved in here, I thought the greatest thing in the world was a foot and a toe to scratch my chest just below my chin! Boy was I missing out!

I have figured out that sitting in someone's lap is Heavenly! I get warm cuddles, and constant attention! Not to mention that I am sure not to be bothered by anyone else listed on this page as my family!!

Mommy isn't quite sure, but she says I seem to like to sit in a lap more now that I have been neutered. Hmmm, maybe. It might be because I am less hyper, or maybe they scared me so much that the extra cuddles help me feel secure! Oh, who cares!! I love to sit in laps now!

Oh, and I don't want to tell you this, but Mommy says she will if I don't! I have given kisses since a few weeks after I moved in, but lately my kisses are getting a lot more common. Yeah, yeah, so I might actually LIKE the 2 legged people I live with! HRMPH!! Now you all know that I am not the mean viscious dog! Just don't tell the dogs at the dog park!!

They really did it!!

okay, so I talked Mommy into letting pop in here before I go to bed. I just felt like I HAD to tell you all what happened today! Mommy and Daddy dropped me off this morning to be neutered! I am not happy, but I am to doped to really care too much right now. I am sure I will have a lot more to say about this in the future, once I start feeling better!!

I thought Mommy had forgotten about me...

Well I was hopeful at least!! Mommy and Daddy left last Friday with the kittens, the boys were in their carrier, and Meisha was on her leash. When they didn't take me I let out a sigh of relief and laid down a happy, happy boy! You see, the boys went to get, GULP, neutered! I was supposed to go too. The boys came home looking like kitten bobble-heads, and they were out of it for the rest of the day.

Anyway, I thought my parts were all safe since I didn't go. NO, Mommy tells me today that I can't eat or drink tonight because tomorrow it is MY turn!! WHAT!? She told me she and Daddy decide to break us up in shifts to make it easier to deal with us while we healed. I have to go tomorrow, so I will be able to go to Heffner's birthday party! I don't know, I am not too happy about either of those things!

I mean, the physical thing is bad enough, but then they want me t not EAT or DRINK before I go!? WHAT?! I HAVE to eat and drink! I am good at eating and drinking! After seeing the boys last Friday, I don't want to be a Charger bobble-head! They didn't even WANT to eat or drink for days! What if that happens to ME!? I'll STARVE!!

Okay, I am going to go hide in my crate! Maybe if I am really good and really quiet, Mommy and Daddy will forget about me again!! Hey, I can hope can't I!?

Went to the vet today with Ginger.

See, I am not so mean that I laughed at Ginger when she got poked with needles! Instead I sat there scared that I was next! Whew! I got out of there with only treats!

As we were leaving, Mommy was discussing an appointment she had made for ME!! YIKES!! My ears perked up, and I hear I am now goign to get my teeth cleaned along with being neutered!! I REALLY thought these people loved me!! GEEZ!! Neutered AND a dental?!

Mommy is trying to reassure me that it is best this way. She says the less time I am asleep at the vets, the better off I am. BAH!!

Okay, so now I KNOW I am gonna be mean next weekend, just because I want to be!! Just wait and see!! haahaahaa!!

Woke up on the wrong side of my crate today.

Yes, today I AM in a particularly bad mood! I usually snarl and growl if one of my 4 legged family members comes too close. Today I tell them off for just looking at me!

Ut oh!!

Mommy has done it again! She hasn't told me directly yet, but I heard her on the phone! She is taking me to be, GULP, NEUTERED!! I have SEEN dogs who have been neutered! Diego was neutered! He is missing things! he said it hurt a little bit, but he doesn't remember it much!

Maybe Mommy will read this and see that I don't want to be neutered! I doubt it though! Mommy and Daddy have been talking about this for as long as I have known them! They always told me that once the kittens were big enough, it would happen!!

Heeheehee!! Mommy is silly though! She thinks that having me neutered will make me NICER!! How can having THAT done POSSIBLY make me nicer!? Diego and Sandy said something about hormones, but I told them I will be MEANER!! heeheehee!!

How DARE she brush my teeth!!

Yes, you read that correctly!! Mommy finally got brave enough to brush my teeth today! It was plain awful!! You see, my first family never brushed my teeth, so I smelled like anything but a bed of roses when I breathed on people! I probably smelled a lot like the stuff people put on roses to help them grow better!

So, Mommy got out the toothbrush and toothpaste. I tried growling and acting mean, but Mommy told me I could bite off all 10 of her fingers, I was getting my teeth brushed!

I did quite well, considering Mommy just jumped in and brushed, and I have never experienced this! What a MESS!! My gums were bleeding and the toothpaste was everywhere!! Mommy kept telling me I was doing a great job, but I didn't really like it one bit!!

Mommy tells me this is going to be an every day thing now! Maybe I shoudl have put up more of a fight.... She told me my teeth will get better and my gums will stop bleeding. She did tell me though that if it doesn't improve I will have to see the vet! Look Mommy!! I am smiling so you can clean my teeth!! HA, as if!!

Oh yeah, I got a rawhide treat tonight too! Mommy called it little, and compared to the others' rawhide, it is little! My little rawhide however, is just the right sixze for ME!! Mmmmmm.....
