Arrival Story:
I saw an ad in the paper for an akita mix that was for sale and decided to check it out...on a whim. Once I saw Bear, I knew I had to have her. I took her home that day and set up an appt. at the vet for that week. At the office, we found that she had severe heartworm so we immediately began treatments. The road to recovery was long and arduous but Bear came through with flying colors. Ever since then she has been the most loving and loyal girl a mom could ask for.
