My mommy had to go away during my birthday this year. Something about grandkids and birthdays. Hey! When did they become more important than me?

Mommy said that she wouldn't be able to spend Kylie's first birthday with her because my "big sister" Amber is getting married right close to her birthday in a different state and as hard as Mommy tries, she can't be in two places at the same time. So, Mommy celebrated Kylie's birthday early.

But, Mommy made it up to me when she got home. She got me a carrot cake for my birthday! My all time FAVORITE!! YUMMY!

I did share a teeny tiny piece with Niki, my Nanny's little teacup Chihuahua. That thing is no more than a snack to me anyway.

I'm so glad my mommy is home. I don't like it when she goes away. Now, I'm back to my bouncy self!
