Arrival Story:
His mom, Duchess, came in as a stray with the pups at the humane society where I worked. The pups were too young to go up for adoption. I fostered mom and pups. Everyone was adopted except Duchess and Fat Boy. Fat Boy was super attached to me. He hated being left at the humane society in a kennel by himself. I adopted both Duchess and Fatty.
Bio:
Fatty was always a "momma's boy." He followed me everywhere, and cried if he couldn't get to me. I think that is from him being alone in a kennel at the animal shelter. He can go anywhere with me. He is the kind of dog that will never leave his yard. He can be off-leash almost all the time (not on walks or in dangerous places). His sister, Shania, lives with my sister, Debbie. His brother, Kodi, lives with my sister, Jennie. His sister, Kiah, was adopted by a very nice girl. His other sister was sadly, unfortunately, and unnecessarily euthanized for ringworm prior to me taking them into foster care. I should mention that he got his name because I wasn't originally planning on keeping him, and he was the chubbiest and biggest in the litter. Then, gradually, he learned sit to that name, and everything else. I didn't want to confuse him after that.
