Please do not disturb my sleep, Water scares me. One word "VET". Those darn wood floors. Snow, yes I know I am supposed to be a sled dog but, yuck its sooo.......WET.

Anything and I do mean anything that humans eat. Pizza is a big hit.

Favorite Walk:
Through the woods, there are so many trees and I have to catch up on all the local gossip.

I am to dignified for tricks you are lucky that I will sit and stay to get what I want.

Arrival Story:
I came to my new parents as a stray almost 11 years ago. Signs were put up absolutely everywhere and no one came to claim me. I have no idea how old I am most definitely my parents' special girl.

So.... Did I tell ya they brought me a new "brother". I seriously don't know what to make of him. Most of the time I ignore him but there are sometimes he seriously annoys me. He needs to learn to STAY AWAY FROM MY BOWL.

Maxie is suffering from Canine dementia also called Canine Cognitive Disorder (sorry if its spelled incorrectly) She is also having more trouble with her arthritis. I guess that is what comes sometimes with our elderly kids. Her age listed is only a best guess since she was a stray. The vet has told us that she could be put on medication for her dementia but we would rather her be drug free for as long as possible. She is however doing great on dietary supplements for her arthritis.

Someone has to tell my mom I'm sorry. I must be losing a little bit of my mind my goodness I growled, barked and almost bit my mom. I bit her a few times before too but not hard. The vet says I am getting something called dementia. Mom told me it just means I am getting cranky as I get older and have to put up with this arthritis. She said she wasn't mad at me but I still gave her lots of sorry kisses after I did it.
