With a difference.
Instead of answering questions all you have to do in this tag game is to spread a little love around dogster and send some mistletoe kisses to other dogsters.
Give a heart rosette to another dogster be it your girlfriend/ boyfriend or someone you might have a crush on:)
We thought we'd spread a lil tzu love ourselves and as we have started this game the tzus are separately choosing five other dogsters each that (paws crossed) can play this game.
Have fun dogsters:)

ACTOR Mickey Rourke’s sad decline was turned around by his faith and love for his dogs, as Sandro Monetti’s new biography of the former hellraiser reveals.
Mickey Rourke's acting career is the stuff of Hollywood.
Starting out as a boxer he moved into acting and became an international star in films including Body Heat, Rumble Fish, Barfly, 9 1/2 Weeks and Angel Heart.
He gave it all up to return to the ring in 1991 and was undefeated in his eight fights. However, four years later he tried to make a screen comeback but the reputation he had earned as a difficult-to-work-with hellraiser, not to mention the plastic surgery, which made him almost unrecognisable, meant that nobody wanted to employ him.
All this made his incredible return to the top of the movie tree with last year’s The Wrestler, for which he won a BAFTA Best Actor award and was nominated for an Oscar, even more remarkable.
Nobody makes a comeback in Hollywood like that and it is all the more remarkable for the fact that the tough guy was saved by the church and his beloved dogs.
His lowest ebb came in the mid-Nineties when he found himself on his knees in New York’s church of the Holy Cross on 42nd Street, praying to a sculpture of St Jude for the strength from the patron saint of lost causes to stop himself doing what he thought he was about to do.
With his movie career washed up, his money gone and his second wife, Carre Otis, walking out on him, Mickey was tormented by suicidal and murderous thoughts.
He had a pistol in his pocket and a plan to shoot the man he says beat up and raped his estranged wife, and after that, maybe turn the gun on himself.
Carre, wondering if they would be the last words he would read.
Then he felt the hand of Father Paul colapietro on his shoulder. He was a Rourke fan who had seen Angel Heart 15 times and managed to get Mickey to tell him his troubles, getting him to hand over the gun by saying, “Where in the Bible does it say, ‘Vengeance is mine, says Mickey Rourke’?”
Father Paul took Mickey to light a candle together and assured the actor that God would give him the strength he needed. He watched Mickey place the letter to Carre behind the statue of St Jude and took him to the Rectory to talk more.
It was Mickey’s experience of the Catholic faith that also provided solace after his brother Joey died of cancer in 2004.
Yet there was to be a more worldly reason that Mickey didn’t want to give in: his dogs. Even in his darkest moments, when he was sitting in a closet in his apartment having been deserted by Carre and lost his movie career and considering whether life was worth living at all, his little dog Beau Jack came in and whimpered as if to say: “Who’s going to take care of me if you go?”
It made Mickey take stock and he resolved to take action and signed himself up with a therapist, a profession he had always pooh-poohed, and now, 14 years later, he’s still seeing him.
Mickey’s dogs have provided therapy, too, filling an emotional gap in his life and turning his home into a much happier place.
Beau Jack was a favourite and when he died in 2002 Mickey tried to bring him back with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. When he knew the dog was gone he took the body to church to be blessed and was only saved from depression after his furry chum’s death by acquiring Beau Jack’s daughter, a chihuahua-terrier mix called Loki, who he has described as “the love of my life”.
Her death in February this year, just six days before the Oscars, was a blow to him. But the fact that his career had been turned around by The Wrestler, that he was acclaimed by his peers and winning awards, and that he had retained his fighting spirit kept him afloat.

Yeap, I have finally succumb to the virus that has been hitting the doggie world!
Cinders caught it about 3 weeks ago and was very ill.
Alfie caught it and only had it for a couple of days.
Quinn caught it and was so ill he started to bleed and had to be admitted into the vets as he was losing weight and we got quite worried for him.
Now I have finally got it.....our humum got up at just before 5 this morning and was greeted by the most horrendous mess and smell.
Luckily, we have seperate pens (this is because we dont sleep at night if we share our bed together and fight etc:)) so we can be pinpointed on who is ill etc.
Mum has said she is dreading Flick (Flippy to you and I:)) getting it as Flick is the eldest and paws crossed she hopefully WONT get it:)
Have you had it?

Be an Angel Day
When : Always August 22
Be an Angel Day encourages us to do acts of kindness, and to help others.
This special day has strong religious roots. Jayne Howard Feldman, the creator of this day, says she was inspired by angels to create this day on August 22.
The objective of this day is to be like an angel, and do something good or kind for someone. It encourages us to be God's servant in doing good things for others. It is intended to do something nice or kind for someone who is in need of help. The type of angelic help you can offer is not defined or limited. It can be physical, emotional, or spiritual.
Be an Angel Day is for both the giver and the receiver. If you are the receiver, make certain to express openly your appreciation. And, recognize the angel in your life as being sent from God.
Tzus thought! we are celebrating this day:)

2005 Terrorist attacks in London against the underground rail system and a bus.
The 7 July 2005 London bombings (also known as the 7/7 bombings) was a series of coordinated suicide bomb attacks on London's public transport system during the morning rush hour. The bombings were carried out by 4 British Muslim men who were motivated by Britain's involvement in the Iraq War.
At 08:50, three bombs exploded within fifty seconds of each other on three London Underground trains. A fourth bomb exploded on a bus nearly an hour later at 09:47 in Tavistock Square. The explosions were caused by home-made organic peroxide-based devices, packed into rucksacks. The devices were almost certainly detonated manually by the bombers themselves in intentional suicide attacks.
The bombings killed 52 people and the four bombers, injured 700, and caused disruption of the city's transport system (severely for the first day) and the country's mobile telecommunications infrastructure. The series of explosions constituted the largest and deadliest terrorist attack on London's transit system in history.
A memorial was opened on the 7th July 2009, the fourth anniversary of the bombings, to remember the 52 victims whose lives were lost.[1]

Well as you know after my lil outing ages ago it took some time before I was trusted to be walking offlead and the last few weekends I've been taken out on the hour long walk we tzus do on a sat and sun.
Our humum gets up at just before sunrise and does a mile walk with all five of us to our nearest park and then lets us off. She says its to do with her 10,000 steps a day but I believe its to do with us tzus needing the exercise!!
This morning though was slightly different, Flippy has had a op on wednesday and has got stitches and her kidneys are playing up a bit we think its a urinary infection but the vet isint quite so sure so we have to wait for a few more test results to see what is going on.
But our walk today only consisted of Me, Alfie and Quinn (Cinders and Flip done the earlier short walk and didnt fancy doing the longer walk).
So off to the park we went and you know what?
It was BUNNY HEAVEN!
There was TONS of them! I was chasing them (and the boys was as well).
Up hills, down hills, in little streams......they couldnt hide from lil olde me!
It was pawtastic!!!! 8000 human steps later (ours must have been at least 16,000!!) mum called it time and we headed off back to home.
But I gotto tell ya.....it was pawsome!!!

A pet dog that fell overboard in rough seas off Australia has been reunited with its owners after surviving alone on an island for four months, reports said.
Sophie Tucker, apparently named after a late US entertainer, fell overboard as Jan Griffith and her family sailed through choppy waters off the northeast Queensland coast in November.
The dog was believed to have drowned and Griffith said the family was devastated.
But out of sight of the family, Sophie Tucker was swimming doggedly and finally made it to St Bees Island, five nautical miles away, and began the sort of life popularised by the TV reality show "Survivor."
She was returned to her family last week when Griffith contacted rangers who had captured a dog that had been living off feral goats on the largely uninhabited island, in the faint hope it might be their long-lost pet.
When the Griffiths met the rangers' boat bringing the dog to the mainland they found that it was indeed Sophie Tucker on board.
"We called the dog and she started whimpering and banging the cage and they let her out and she just about flattened us," Griffith told the national AAP news agency.
"She wriggled around like a mad thing."
Griffith said that when the dog was first spotted on the island she had been in poor condition.
"And then all of a sudden she started to look good and it was when the rangers had found baby goat carcasses so she'd started eating baby goats," she said.
Sophie Tucker, a member of the Australian cattle dog breed, had been quick to readjust to the comforts of home, complete with airconditioning, Griffiths said.
"She surprised us all. She was a house dog and look what she's done, she's swum over five nautical miles, she's managed to live off the land all on her own," Griffiths said.
"We wish she could talk, we truly do."

I come across this cute poem off of a website and I had to share it with ya:)
Poem for New Puppy Owners
Don't smell crotches, don't eat plants,
Don't steal food or underpants.
Don't eat my socks; don't grab my hair,,,
DON'T RIP THE STUFFING FROM THAT CHAIR!!
Don't eat those peas, don't touch that bush,
Don't chew my shoes, what IS this mush!?!
Eat your cookies, drink your drink,
Outta the toilet! Outta the sink!
AWAY FROM THE LITER BOX, IT'S FOR THE CAT!
(and must you kiss me after that!?!)
Raising a puppy is not for the lazy,
Those rugrats are funny, but also quite crazy.
Don't despair through the toil and the strife.
"Cause after three years you'll get back your life!
So lets go for walkies, so you can do your "thing"
And maybe I'll get back my diamond ring!

Deirdre Franklin thinks it's no accident that her fellow burlesque dancers and pinup models feel a kinship with pit bulls.
“They're people who chose to be on the outside and do it their way, who are used to being the underdog,” she says. “They identify with the pitbull — they want to change the stereotype.”
Changing the stereotype is one thing that Franklin — her stage name is Little Darling — hopes to do with her calendar, "Pinups for Pitbulls." Her other goal is to beat last year's total of more than $10,000 raised to support pit bull rescue.
Her involvement with bully breed rescue started with one dog that she wasn't able to save, when a woman brought a stray pit bull into an animal shelter where Franklin was a volunteer.
“She thought she was saving its life by bringing it in," recalls Franklin. “I took the dog and put her in the kennel — she was a sweetheart, totally gentle.” But the shelter had a policy of euthanizing all pit bulls, and would neither let Franklin adopt the dog nor release it to a pit bull rescue.
Franklin's anger at the death led her to adopt another pit bull from a rescue group. With no experience with the breed, she was fearful. But the dog she adopted, Carla Lou, who'd been left for dead in a Texas basement, “came right out of the cage and was an angel,” says Franklin.
Now, after years of involvement with rescue, she says this is typical: “Every other pit bull I've met has just wanted to climb in your lap and kiss you and be near you.”
Franklin, who works as an auditor by day, decided to start using her dancing and modeling talents to raise money for pit rescue three years ago with the first "Pinups for Pitbulls" calendar. This year the project has gone nationwide with its first models from the West Coast.
Beautiful and quirky in their high heels, red lipstick, and in many cases, elaborate tattoos, these women are more than eye candy.
Models go through an application process to get into the calendar, and the photos feature them with their own dogs and text telling their stories, from heartbreaking rescue tales to one model's description of her dog wagging her tail “so hard that her butt wiggles.”
The models must take part in fundraising events, too, but that commitment is no obstacle to attracting participants. There were 50 applicants for this year's calendar.
Franklin says most dancers don't go to school to learn burlesque, so they're accustomed to doing research and creating their own routines to new and old music. “It's their art form,” Franklin says. “They work very hard to create something that's only two minutes long and no one might see again.”
Some of the women use talents from their day jobs for the cause as well. Carrie Hunter of Los Angeles, the September model, is a graphic designer by day, and did the layout of the calendar and Web site.
Getting e-mails through the Web site about dogs that need homes or need to get out of shelters quickly before they're euthanized, she says, “you get involved on a really personal level.”
Hunter, who doesn't own a pit bull (living in a small studio apartment, her own rescue dog is a chihuahua/terrier mix), posed with Baxter, Franklin's second dog, who still has scars from chemical burns that he suffered at the hands of an abuser.
The one dog in the calendar who hasn't yet found a home is the cover model, Ciera. Karen Halker, who took Ciera to the photo shoot for the calendar, says, “She's really an even-tempered dog. She gets along with everybody.”
Ciera, who's deaf, is being fostered by Critter Crossings, which has volunteers and foster homes in California and Nevada. Unlike most of the other bully-specific groups that the calendar helps, they're an all-breed rescue. But, says Halker, who volunteers for Critter Crossings, “We're known for taking in underdogs.”
Winnies thought....We have checked out the calender and surprisingly it looks good:)

The fat man who only puts in one day's work per year (aside from Marlon Brando in the 1990s) could be in a spot of bother if the law catches up with his sled.
That's because an archaic UK law still on the statue books makes it illegal to eat mince pies on Christmas Day! Those leftovers are just going to have to wait due to an out-of-date piece of legal action Great Britain apparently still upholds! But what other crazy laws are still on the books?
A 22-year-old woman was banned from buying a box of Christmas crackers because shop staff in Marks and Spencer thought she was under 16, citing the 1875 Explosives Act.
Due to this age-old law, the harmless cracker, home to bad jokes and shoddy toys, was classed as a potentially dangerous explosive thanks to its miniscule amount of gunpowder.
It's illegal to die in the Houses of Parliament, which is a law the local police must have to try and tackle every day. Parliament made a grave error when passing this law - surely the "arrests" must be in bad taste!
It is illegal to enter the Houses of Parliament in a suit of armour even if you work there and really like the briefcase and chainmail combo. It would also be quite a challenge sitting down on those wooden pews.
In the UK a pregnant woman can legally relieve herself anywhere she pleases. And that includes a policeman's helmet.
It is illegal not to tell the tax man anything you do not want him to know, but legal not to tell him information you do not mind him knowing. That makes about as much senses as the taxes we pay.
It is legal to murder a Scotsman within the ancient city walls of York, but only if he is carrying a bow and arrow. Which is why the production team of 'Braveheart' gave the historic city of York a miss when location scouting. At least there's a chance it could be self-defence!
British border patrol guards stationed in Calais have been banned from using X-rays to search for stowaway illegal immigrants unless they have the stowaways' written permission! This seems to defeat the object of looking for people who would very much like to remain hidden, but scanners may breach European health and safety laws.
Customers at the fast food chain McDonalds are being warned that taking too long in the drive-through car park (45 minutes and above) will result in a hefty fine of £125.
Failure to digest the sum will result in the cost increasing as well as court action, in a policy recognised by over 40 branches to prevent the car parks from being "abused".
It is an act of treason to place a postage stamp bearing the British monarch upside down. We wouldn't want all the ink rushing to her head would we?
A motorist who feels compelled to urinate in public may do so freely on his own motor. There is a catch - he must aim for the rear wheels and keep his hand on his automobile.
Students at Anglia and Ruskin University have been warned off following tradition and hurling their mortar boards in the air because of health and safety fears. The university's decision to give such a deterrent follows a student receiving a head wound and needing stitches due to a flying hat.
If Anglia and Ruskin officials are correct in their belief that the graduation ritual is a danger, cap tossing could be legally banned nationwide.
In Liverpool, it is illegal for a woman to be topless except as a clerk in a tropical fish store. Perhaps the customers need a little more of an incentive to keep the tropical fish market above the water.
In Scotland, if someone knocks on your door to use the toilet, you must let them enter. Next stop: Edinburgh Castle. Whoever came up with this law didn't have the nation's safety too close in mind!

Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There I was waiting in the vets for mum when she walked through the door and whoosh I was jumping up and down woofing at her telling all about my adventure!
Heres over to my humum to tell you all about it!
Hi dogsterians!
Well I went to pick Winnie up and while I was talking to the vet he told me a couple of things. Winnie had to stay in for the night as she had green poo (She must have picked something up which on the walk) and they wanted to make sure she was OK. Which by me was absolutely fine as at least I knew where she was. She was handed in by a lady into the vets who was the daughter of the old lady that originally took Winnie in. From what we can gather the old lady didnt know Winnie was missing and couldnt see her disc properly so hence why we didnt get a phone call. The daughter must've felt embarrassed and just took the dog straight to the Vets after she visited her mum and the vet done the scan on the chip and it come up with our address/ phone number etc.
We're not to sure how far away Winnie got but we can say that we are so happy that our lil gurl is back home and the other tzus have been given her grief for getting us all worried! I've put a lead ban on Winnie for a while till I know she wont be going off chasing the rabbits etc . And I know she wont be happy with that and she'll probably be moaning about it in her diary very shortly (I'm just glad shes back to be able to moan about it:0).
We have brought them a few toys as a welcome home to Winnie and to be honest we are so relieved that this had a happy ending :)
Words cannot described the love we have felt from you guys and we deeply appreciate all your kind thoughts and the rosettes and messages you have left. Over the next couple of days we'll be responding to you guys but for now I just want to hug my lil gurl and not let her go!
Winnie wants to thank everyone for all the kindness and she knows (fingers crossed) not to run off again (paws crossed as well).
Many hugs and tzus snogs to everyone!
We love all of you pupsters and pawrents.

A PAIR of pampered pooches are set to live in the yap of luxury – in a doghouse costing THREE QUARTERS OF A MILLION POUNDS.
A wealthy accountant and his doctor wife are having a fabulous £1.4million home specially built for their retirement.
Half of it will be for their two treasured Great Danes – and they are spending MORE on that than their own.
The dogs’ side of the stunning, state-of-the-art property will include:
* A 52in plasma TV and SURROUND SOUND music system costing £150,000
* A retina-scan ENTRY SYSTEM that only recognises the eyes of the two Great Danes and keeps other dogs out
* THREE separate rooms - a doglounge and two individual bedrooms
* Two ’daybeds’ lined with sheepskin which can be TEMPERATURE-CONTROLLED
* Elevated beds that allow the dogs to see through the HUGH WINDOWS
* Automatic dry FOOD DISPENSERS and dispensers for chilled and filtered water that self-fill to pre-set levels
* An external temperature-controlled ’DOGSPA’ with gentle slope and saline purification for health
* An outdoor adventure PLAY AREA with climbing ramp and surveying platform, and
* An OUTDOOR SHELTER, complete with cameras.
The entire doghouse – covering around 1,000 sq feet – can be controlled by the owners from anywhere in the world.
’Dogvision’ webcams will allow them to monitor their pets 24 hours-a-day via internet links.
They will even be able to adjust the temperature in the dog house from the other side of the globe.
And while they are away the 52-inch plasma TV will play ’The Dog Whisperer’ on a loop to keep the Great Danes amused.
The incredible kennel and adjoining three-bedroom human side – called Hedron House – are being built on the exclusive Lower Mill Estate near Cirencester, Gloucs.
Work is due to start next April and take around 18 months and the owners have requested anonymity.
Publicist Mark Borkowski said: “All we can say is that they are a retired couple who are completely dog-mad.
“They said: ’We want the perfect living space for us and our dogs’ and that’s what they are getting.”
Puts an entirely different spin on being in the doghouse.
Check out the piccie for this house its AMAZING!

Our mission is to positively change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK. Our vision is a society where each and every child and young person is supported to realise their potential.
In 2007 the BBC Children in Need Appeal raised over £37 million and for every penny donated to the charity, a penny will go towards projects helping disadvantaged children in the UK. We are able to make this promise because the charity uses its investment income to cover all opeational costs. Every year, thanks to public donations and the amazing efforts of fundraisers, schools, businesses and our corporate partners, we are able to provide support to thousands of youngsters aged 18 and under.
We provide this support in the form of grants to organisations working with children who may have experienced mental, physical or sensory disabilities; behavioural or psychological disorders; are living in poverty or situations of deprivation; or suffering through distress, abuse or neglect.
The size and scale of the BBC Children in Need Appeal means that we're able to give grants to hundreds of different organisations, some of which are very small and don't have the resources to fundraise for themselves.
The charity operates all year round, not just the months leading up to Appeal night, and our staff around the UK process thousands of applications for funding. Every year the funding requests exceed the amount of money raised so we carefully assess all applications to ensure that grants are targeted on areas of real need. Voluntary committee members, based in each region, draw on their expertise and local knowledge to advise our board of Trustees which projects should receive grants, and funds are allocated geographically to ensure that all corners of the UK get a share of the money raised.
The BBC Children in Need Appeal is a registered charity: in England and Wales number 802052, in Scotland number SC039557 and is constituted as a company limited by guarantee, registered number 4723022. BBC Children in Need is a member of the Institute of Fundraising and Fundraising Standards Board (FRSB). This means we've signed up to the Fundraising Promise committing us to treat the public with respect, fairness, honesty and clarity in all our fundraising activities. For more information please visit the FRSB website.

One of the owners of the Grade II listed cottages has threatened the Olde Coach House Inn at Ashby-St-Ledger in Northamptonshire - where Guy Fawkes and Robert Catesby are said to have sealed arrangements with a pint in 1605 - with a legal injunction to stop the event.
The Catholic conspirators cooked up the plan to blow up the Houses of Parliament at the village's manor house, where wealthy Catesby's mother lived, before heading over to the ale house for some Dutch courage.
For decades the pub has put on a November 5 show to mark the village's unique place in British history.
But now owners of 12 cottages that lie a few hundred yards away have become worried that their homes could go up in flames.
Margaret Kirby, 64, has threatened legal action to protect her 400-year-old cottage.
She said: "I do not want to be a killjoy but there are 12 thatched cottages near the pub and if a spark goes on this it could set all of the places alight.
"I will be speaking to my solicitor and we will start court proceedings to try and stop it happening."
She added: "I do not want to see my house on fire. The thatched cottages are one of the reasons that people choose to live in the village."
But landlady Anni Kipz, 32, has promised to press ahead.
She said: "It has been a bit of a tradition in the village to hold the bonfire night at the pub. I considered not doing it but we've had lots of phone calls from people saying things like, 'I came to it as a child and now I'm bringing mine.'
"It's a fun event and part of our history."
She added: "The plotting all took place in the manor house and it was sealed with a pint in the pub.
"I do not want to be responsible for cancelling something that is part of our tradition and heritage," she said.
"There are a lot of people who are going to turn up with their children and would be left disappointed.
She stressed: "I would not do anything I did not consider safe."
Winnies thought...wow a slice of history!

The tables turned for finalists of the talent show X Factor yesterday when their charity single knocked judge Sheryl Cole’s group Girls Aloud off the top of the charts.
The cover of Mariah Carey’s song Hero, performed by the 12 acts from this year’s live shows, has stormed to number one and become the fastest selling charity single of the decade.
Hero sold 313,244 copies in its first week, outselling the rest of the Top 10 combined. It also became the fastest-selling single of the year.
All proceeds from the record will go to Help The Heroes – a charity that supports wounded servicemen and women - and the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
However, not all of those who contributed to Hero were celebrating yesterday. Austin Drage, 22, became the latest contestant to be voted off the show on Saturday night for his performance of Rolls Royce’s hit Wishing on a Star.
Viewers watching Saturday night’s show also learnt that X Factor host Holly Willoughby is pregnant with her first child. She announced the news live on air.
Meanwhile judge Simon Cowell also made the news this weekend, as speculation continued that his relationship with long-term girlfriend Terri Seymour come to an end.
Responding the the news of Hero's success, Cowell said yesterday: “It’s a really important cause, we are all honoured to be a part of it and most importantly, this is going to raise money for a group of people who really need help and support."
The single also earned the support of chancellor Alistair Darling, who will waive VAT on sales, and a public thumbs up from prime minister Gordon Brown at a press conference last week. HMV, Woolworths and Tesco are also donating profits on sales of the single to Help The Heroes and the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
The 12 acts performing on Hero are Austin Drage, Eoghan Quigg and Scott Bruton (in the 14 – 24 boys group); Laura White, Diana Vickers and Alexandra Burke (in the 14 – 24 girls group); Daniel Evans, Rachel Hylton, Ruth Lorenzo (over 25s) and groups Bad Lashes, Girlband and JLS.

Well my paws having been walking around the web and I found this o so CRAZY dog story....you've just gotto read it!
American pet rental service is cruel and treats dogs like a 'timeshare' say animal charities
By BEN CLERKIN
A dog is supposed to be for life - but can now be for only a weekend or even just a day thanks to a new pet rental service.
Dog lovers who do not have the time or space to keep a full-time pet can hire a part-time one with Flexpetz, an American company setting up in the UK.
But the new dog borrowing scheme has been heavily criticised by animal charities who say it is cruel because renting out dogs like a "timeshare" only serves to confuse and upset them.
The dog borrowing scheme has been heavily criticised by animal charities who say it is cruel
However, such is demand for the service that 100 people in the UK signed up to the members-only scheme before it was even recently launched, after proving popular in the US.
The new London branch currently has five dogs, with most of the animals retired show dogs, which have received full obedience training, and are checked by vets every three months.
They are also fitted with tracking collars in case they are lost.
Members pay an annual fee of £50, a monthly subscription of £49, and £30 per visit by "their" dog.
The fees cover leads, bowls, beds and food which are supplied for every trip.
Marlena Cervantes, a behavioural therapist who launched the service, said that ideally the dogs are shared by only two or three "owners", and live in a kennel the rest of the time.
"Our members are responsible in that they realise full-time ownership is not an option," she said.
"They range from a five-year-old girl whose parents work full-time to a 65-year-old woman who's not physically able to walk a dog every day.
"The demand has been incredible and although we only have five dogs at the London branch we are going to significantly increase that number.
"And we are seriously considering opening more branches across the UK.
"We screen all our members first to make sure they are suitable. We are looking for commitment and compassion and if people do not measure up we do not let them join."
But the idea of sharing a dog between multiple "owners" has been questioned by animal welfare charities.
Kennel Club Secretary, Caroline Kisko, said: "It is with deep concern that the Kennel Club has heard about FlexPetz.
"The concept of renting out dogs as a 'timeshare' equivalent is detrimental to the dog, leading to all kinds of confusion for the animal.
"It also raises many questions about the kind of person who is making money at the dog's expense, what happens when the dog gets older and no one wants it, and what happens in the situation where people who are renting the dog don't want to give it back?
"It is also of concern that different people will have different ideas about house rules, leading to even further confusion for the dog when it is not given any consistency with which rules to follow."
There are already many ways in which dog lovers can get access to dogs, even if they don't have time or space to own one, she added.
"These include volunteering to walk dogs from a local rescue centre, or helping dog related charities which run schemes to send their dogs 'out' for the weekend to socialise while they are in training, such as Hearing Dogs for Deaf People,' she said.
"These dogs need our support first - and there's no charge to people for the privilege."
Dogs Trust behaviour advisor Vicki Horsley said: "One critical element of responsible ownership is the commitment to care for a dog for the whole of their lives and not to regard them as disposable.
"Rent-a-dog schemes simply encourages a throw-away attitude that so often leads to dogs ending in rehoming centres.
"The instability that would come from frequent changes of home is likely to lead to chronic stress and anxiety, which could present itself in a variety of health and behaviour problems."
Pet charity Blue Cross animal behaviourist Ryan Neile said: "When a dog is passed around from one person or home to another, they may become confused, distressed and unpredictable.
"We will often spend months working with such dogs to repair the damage of the past."

Winnies trail of thought......
Personally speaking this is a controversial area..I for one wouldnt like to be pushed around from pillar to post living at different homes...but then again is that a bigoted point of view? Is there anyone on dogster that lives this existence....and do they actually like it?

Father of All Bombs" is the nickname of a Russian-made air-delivered/land activated thermobaric weapon that is claimed to be four times more powerful than the U.S. military's GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast bomb (MOAB or the "mother of all bombs"), making it the most powerful conventional (non-nuclear) weapon in the world.
In describing the bomb's destructive power, Russian deputy armed forces chief of staff Alexander Rukshin is quoted as saying, "all that is alive merely evaporates." It was successfully field-tested in the late evening of September 11, 2007, when it was dropped from a Tupolev Tu-160 heavy bomber with a parachute. According to the military, the new weapon will replace several smaller types of nuclear bombs in its arsenal.
The vacuum device yields the equivalent of 44 tons of TNT using 7.8 tons of a new type of high explosive developed with the use of nanotechnology. Because of this the bomb is capable of emitting shockwaves as powerful as a small nuclear weapon. The bomb works by exploding in mid-air, while the main destruction is inflicted by an ultrasonic shockwave and an incredibly high temperature which incinerates everything nearby. Thermobaric weapons differ from conventional explosive weapons by using oxygen from the atmosphere, rather than carrying an oxidizing agent in their explosives. They produce more energy than normal weapons but are harder to control.
According to General Alexander Rushkin, the Russian deputy chief of staff, the new bomb is smaller than the MOAB but much deadlier because, due to nanotechnology, the temperature at the epicentre of the blast is twice as high. He says the bomb's capabilities are comparable to nuclear weapons, but at the same time, use of the weapon doesn’t damage or pollute the environment (apart from the environment inside the blast radius), as a nuclear weapon would.
In comparison, the MOAB produces the equivalent of 11 tons of TNT from 8 tons of high explosive. The blast radius of the FOAB is 300 m, more than double that of the MOAB, and the temperature at the epicenter of its blast is two times higher.
Very Scary in the wrong hands ~ dont you dogsterians think?

History of the Games
The World Firefighters Games was initiated by an American entrepreneur and a committee of international firefighters, whose coming together led to the 1st World Firefighters Games in Aukland NewZealand in 1990. This inaugral event was hailed as a great success placing the WFG firmly on the international map, attracting thousands of athletes and their families from all over the world.
The second WFG were held in Las Vegas in 1992 and thus the stage was set to host this event on a biennial basis. 1994 saw the ownership of the event passing to a committee of firefighters in Perth, Western Australia who hosted yet another fantastic WFG in this same year. The W. Australia WFG Governing Body have continued to drive forward this event which has seen the mantle of the games being hosted at the following international venues:
1996 – Edmonton, Canada
1998 – Durban, South Africa
2000 – Mantes, France
2002 – Christchurch, New Zealand
2004 – Sheffield, England
2006 – Hong Kong, China
The Liverpool World Firefighters Games 2008 will be staged from 25th August- 3rd September 2008. Liverpool is also set to be the European Capital of Culture in 2008, with WFG08 playing a major role in the Capital of Culture calendar. This will give WFG unprecedented access to brand new state of the art international sporting venues such as the Liverpool Echo Arena. The Games will feature 60 sporting events over a period of 10 days attracting in excess of 5000 competitors from all over the world. The Games include a variety of sports and whilst the emphasis is on participation, competition is fierce and the last time the Games were held in the UK (Sheffield) two British national records were broken.
The Games lasts for a period of seven to ten days and are self-financing with any surplus being reinvested in local charities.

1) My life lasts between ten to fifteen years. Every separation from you means suffering for me. Think about this before you decide whether or not to take me!
2) Give me time to understand what you are asking from me.
3) Instill confidence in me - I thrive on it!
4) Do not be angry with me for a long time and do not lock me up for punishment! You have your work, your pleasure, your joy - I have only you.
5) Talk often to me! Even if I do not understand you completely, I do understand the tone of your voice when you talk to me.
6) Know that, no matter how I am being treated, I shall never forget it!
7) Keep in mind, before you hit me , that my jaws could crush the knuckles of your hand with ease, but that I do not make use of them.
8) Before you scold me when working with me, consider: perhaps I am uncomfortable from digesting my last meal; perhaps I was exposed to the sun too long; or perhaps I have a worn-out heart.
9) Take care of me when I am old -- you too are going to be old one day.
10) Be with me when my going gets rough. Everything is easier for me when you are beside me.

Tomorrow is friendship day and we have taken this opportunity to send all our pup pals a lil rosette.
Spread the paws of friendship across the world pupsters!
When : the first Sunday of August
Friendship Day is a day to nurture relationships, new and old. It's a really easy and fun day to celebrate.
Start the day by getting in touch with some old friends. Start early. Chances are, they know it's Friendship Day. You want to beat them to the punch, and contact them first. Phone calls, emails, Ecards, are great tools. See if you can make plans for lunch today, or some other day (soon).
Then, catch up to some of your current pals and buddies. Make sure to do some interesting things with them before the day is through. As you go through the day, be ever vigilant to spot an opportunity to make a new friend. Finding new friends today, is a real feather in your cap.
One thing is for certain...... if you put your all into the spirit of Friendship Day, you will have a great, great day.
Happy Friendship Day to people all over the world!

The Jewsbury tzus are celebrating national kissing day and hoping to spread some snogs your way! As all of us are footloose and fancy free (none of us are courting anyone) we thought we would spread this tradition to EVERYONE!
So if your one of the lucky ones to recieve our snogs (we're only allowed to give out five each) we would love it if you could spread the snogs to other dogsters....LETS HAVE A SNOG FEST!!!!
Happy kissing day everyone and remember to give your mum, dad and siblings a whole load of snogs!!!
To celebrate the 13th annual National Kissing Day, its founder Denplan commissioned the survey to ask people to name their top three favourite screen kisses. Second most popular rated kiss was the Disney classic Lady and the Tramp, where pampered pedigree pooch Lady shares a surprise spaghetti kiss with loveable rogue Tramp (36%). In third place was Swayze again, this time with Jennifer Grey in the 1987 blockbuster Dirty Dancing as they kiss in public for the first time (35%).
Swayze's still got it
Swayze was the clear favourite with the females surveyed, who voted Ghost (50%) and Dirty Dancing (43%) as their top two. The star of both blockbusters, who turns 56 this year, clearly remains a heartthrob for many.
Surprisingly more in touch with their feelings than previously given credit for, men voted for Ghost first (40%), Lady and the Tramp romped in second with 36% and one of the greatest romantic tragedies of recent time, Titanic, received 33% coming in third.
Oldie but not a goodie
Unexpectedly, classic films Gone with the Wind, From Here to Eternity and Breakfast at Tiffany's all ranked low in the voting at sixth, seventh and tenth places respectively.
However, these still remain the favourites of the over 65's, whose top three screen smooches were Lady and the Tramp (40%), Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler's tempestuous kiss in Gone with the Wind (36%), and Burt Lancaster and Deborah Kerr's classic beach clinch in From Here to Eternity (36%).
Creator of the first National Kissing Day back in 1995 and Denplan Managing Director, Stephen Gates, said: "We created National Kissing Day as a fun way to raise the profile of dentistry among consumers so that it had a connection with everyday life and not just six-month check-ups. While oral healthcare is a serious matter impacting general health, being sombre about it doesn't necessarily always get the message across. National Kissing Day is a great opportunity for people to kiss their loved ones and remember the importance of oral healthcare; we hope everyone will be doing that today."

This is a fantastic weekend for the tzus!!! Our two favourite footie teams are playing MAJOR matches!!!
Barclays Premier League
Chelsea V Bolton 3pm GMT sunday.....
Avram Grant believes that whoever holds their nerve will be crowned Premier League champions on Sunday.
Chelsea trail Manchester United only on goal difference, with the Red Devils travelling to Wigan and Grant's men at home to Bolton, with both matches live on Sky Sports.
And the Israeli feels that whoever copes better with the pressure on what is bound to be a tension-filled afternoon will be holding the trophy aloft.
Sir Alex Ferguson's side are in pole position and will claim a 10th Premier League crown if they defeat the Latics, but Chelsea are waiting eagerly in the wings and are determined to pounce.
Mental strength
Grant told Sky Sports News: "Nobody expected it and nobody believed that it would come to this stage, we believed it all the time.
"When you come to the last month or two months it is mental strength, but you also have to show physical qualities.
"When you come to the last game, mental strength is very important.
"We have a game against Bolton, which is not an easy game and we need to win, I think it will be a very tough game.
"Of course we will look at the result from Wigan. We hope that everything will be OK.
"Wigan haven't lost at home since January, they played fantastically against us before. They know that they are under the spotlight all over the world and everyone is watching so I am sure they will do their best."
Respect
Both clubs are indulging in mind-games ahead of Sunday's end-of-season spectacular, and Grant could not resist a joke at the expense of Ferguson.
The Scot has expressed concerns that Bolton have been too relaxed after all-but securing their top-flight status last weekend, with Grant light-heartedly likening the United boss to a member of the Israeli special forces.
He joked: "I told everyone that Alex is from the Mossad, and nobody believed me. He knows everything!"
Grant added: "We know Alex, I like him, I respect him, but we know why he says these things sometimes.
"I don't think he knows what is happening at Bolton, unless he wants to be manager there."
Ricardo Carvalho remains a major doubt for Chelsea after injuring his back in the victory over Newcastle, and he is still to return to training after intensive treatment.
Grant admitted: "He didn't train today, but we will see tomorrow."
We're SUPPORTING both the reds for today EBBSFLEET UNITED and sending out good tzu thoughts for the BLUES tomorrow...GO CHELSEA!!!!
And dont forget the match on 21st May Chelsea V Man U!

The History
St. George is the patron saint of England. His emblem, a red cross on a white background, is the flag of England. It was adopted by Richard The Lion heart and brought to England in the 12th century. The king's soldiers wore it on their tunics to avoid confusion in battle.
St. George's Day is on April 23rd, so, in a sense, this is England's National Day.
Winston Churchill wrote:
"There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word,
which means more to me than any other.
That word is ENGLAND."

"Well, Mrs. O'Connor, so you want a divorce?" the solicitor questioned his client.
"Tell me about it. Do you have a grudge?"
"Oh, no," replied Mrs. O'Connor. "Shure now, we have a carport."
The solicitor tried again. "Well, does the man beat you up?"
"No, no," said Mrs. O'Connor, looking puzzled. "Oi'm always first out of bed."
Still hopeful, the solicitor tried once again.
"What I'm trying to find out are what grounds you have."
"Bless ye, sor. We live in a flat -- not even a window box, let alone grounds."
"Mrs. O'Connor," the solicitor said in considerable exasperation, "you need a reason that the court can consider.
What is the reason for you seeking this divorce?"
"Ah, well now," said the lady,
"Shure it's because the man can't hold an intelligent conversation."

And all round the house everyone was as quiet as a mouse!
Win Wam here hoping to spread a lil christmas charm your way!
Well Mum and Dad are doing last minute things to make sure our christmas runs smoothly. Dad forgot to get one of his grand kids (yeap he's that olde! hehehe) a chrissimiss presant and mum is making sure her family is all accounted for pressie wise. So unlike yesterday when Dad come out for a walk with all of us mum will be taking us out on her own (she thinks we're gonna be wearing tinsel around our necks oooooo ef!!!). So its us mum and nan in the house...we can so torment Nan if mum wasnt around! hehehe
Personally speaking my lil family are all looking forward to christmas we just want it to hurry up and happen hehehehe. I have been racing thru the house hoping if everything happens quickly we might be able to make the clocks run faster and then it will be chrissimiss hehehe
Us tzus thought we would write a personal diary entry to all our readers, young and old pups across the worldly paths. To the pups in Oz who have been gracing our TV scenes sending Xmas messages back home to their loved ones in temperatures reaching 35 celsius!
To our men and women over in Iraq and Afghan as well as on other projects that dont reach our attention we wish you the best christmas you can hope for.
To our countries Queen who has now become a member of youtube ~ well ma'am we would never have tzu believed it!
But last and not at all least we wish every member of dogster and their families the happiest, safest and most pleasureable christmas you guys could ever wish for. Take care guys and remember not to eat to much otherwise you'll be joining our mum and us on sparkpeople!.

The gorgeous Maya has just tagged me and I'm so doggy excited!! I gotto think of 7 things that I'm thankful for...well...mum dressing me up is def not one of them;-)
Here are the rules: Because it’s Thanksgiving time, there is a change to the rules. Each player needs to tell seven special things they are thankful for. Tagged dogs must post the rules in their diary and their 7 things. Then choose 7 pups to tag and list their names. Let them know by pawmail or rosette that they have been tagged and to read your diary for the instructions on how to play.
i) I'm thankful for having a large furpuppy family so my sadistic owners dont just dress me up....the others have to put up with it too...
ii) I'm thankful for having paws small enough to use the keyboard so I can check out all the puppies pages here on dogster.
iii) I'm thankful for dogster ~ I'm so happy that theres a group of dogs that have owners just as bonkers as mine ~ makes me feel normal now:-)
iv) I'm thankful for Xmas, new years, birthday, turkey day (hint hint mum!), St Georges Day and any other holidays that means we dont have doggy food for dinner but human food...yummy!
v) I'm thankful for shoes/ trainers/ boots...anything so the peeps can't use the excuse of they havent got the right footwear to take us out on a walk:-)
vi) I'm thankful for summer....winter is not my favourite season at all.
vii) I'm thankful for YOU ~ cos if you wasnt reading my pages, giving me bones , leaving me rosettes/ stars etc and giving me feedback. My pages wouldnt be as decorated as much as they are. So thank you dogsters page readers.
The ones I tag....

Vincent
Toby

The Blue Cross's Veterinary Nurse of the Year Award has been presented to Anna Hatchett for her outstanding contribution to animal welfare, both within her veterinary practice and among the local community in Whitby, North Yorkshire.
The award was presented during the British Veterinary Nursing Association (BVNA) annual congress in Kettering, Northamptonshire, on 21 October by TV vet Scott Miller and Blue Cross director of veterinary services, Dick Voigt.
Celebrating veterinary nursing
This award celebrates the significant contribution made by a veterinary nurse in both educating the public and promoting the welfare of pets in the community. Members of the public were invited to nominate a nurse who they felt had made an important contribution to their local community.
Dick Voigt of The Blue Cross explains: "This annual award recognises the hard work and talent exhibited by veterinary nurses throughout the country. Anna's commitment to help educate people about responsible pet ownership demonstrates a real understanding of the important bond that people share with their pets."
Anna Hatchett was nominated by two vets, Edward Gillams and Kate Loomes, who previously worked with her at The Beck Veterinary Practice in Whitby, North Yorkshire.
"Selfless dedication"
Mr Gillams remarked: "Anna has given the practice 10 years of selfless dedication and hard work. She always finds time to discuss pets with their owners, be it while running puppy parties, weight clinics or while in reception dealing with appointments."
Ms Loomes added: "Anna is an exceptionally dedicated and talented nurse. She has an amazing memory for clients and takes time to enquire as to how their individual pets are. She doesn't hesitate to take in and care for stray and lost animals and works well over her working hours when animals are in need of help."
Commenting on her award, Anna said: "I was very touched when I found out I'd been nominated and absolutely thrilled to have won. I have been a veterinary nurse for more than a decade now and can't think of a more rewarding job - it's just a case of doing what comes naturally!"

Woohoo it's finally here bonfire night burning of the guy and dads knackered smelly olde shoes that he likes to wear even though they have seen better dads. Mum has put them on the fire and I am postive I heard her say *burn baby burn*!
Remember dogsters take care these next few nights!
D-Day
There are several additional steps which can be taken on the day of the event
• Check that the den area is accessible, and prepared.
• Take your dog for a walk to make sure he has been to the toilet before the fireworks start.
• Feed him an hour before the event, adding some potato or white pasta to fill him up and make him sleepy
• If you can, set up some rhythmic music in the room. This can help to mask out the noise, so turn it up to a moderate level. Do, however, check that he likes it beforehand – and turn it off if he doesn't, or seems more stressed.
• When the fireworks start, take your pet to his den area and encourage him to settle there.
• Do NOT try to pat and stroke him in an attempt to sooth him if he is showing signs of stress. This simply rewards how he is behaving and teaches him that he's right to be scared. Don't let him know that you're concerned.
• Instead, if he's not settling in his den, try to distract him with a game or an easy training session, but don't force him to play.
• You may even want to consider setting up a TV in the “safe” room and simply sitting in there with him. Normal quiet, family company may help to calm him.
All this advice and more can be found on this page...

Take care dogsters over the next few nights XXXX

We thought we would bark out loud that its World Animal Day today. If you unsure on what it is all about heres a quick brief.
October 4 2007 is World Animal Day; a time for animal welfare groups, sanctuaries and individuals throughout the world to encourage people to think about how we as humans relate to animals.
World Animal Day was started in 1931 at a convention of ecologists in Florence as a way of highlighting the plight of endangered species. Since then it has grown to encompass all kinds of animal life and has been widely celebrated in countries as diverse as Australia and Malta, Singapore and Lithuania.
The event was launched in the UK in 2003. Organisations and individuals who participated in what was to become an annual event in this country, quite simply, helped make history. Hundreds of people also took the opportunity to make a pledge for the animals. Meanwhile in other parts of the world, WAD continued to grow.
One way to celebrate World Animal Day, which is also the feast day of St Francis of Assisi, is to hold a pet blessing service. The Blue Cross is asking churches up and down the country to hold a special pet blessing service on either 1 or 8 October.
If you would like to read more...please copy and paste this link.....

Also just a lil bit of trivia our nans confirmation name is Francis (we're catholic shih tzus born and bred and St Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals;-)) so we love ~ love this day....

It all started last thursday, mum and me was out on our walk nearing the end of it when we had to go up a alley (we live in the countryside and its one which has a wall on one side and trees on the other. When all of a sudden a rottweiler come outta nowhere and tried to nuzzle upto me.
I peed my fur pants and run off. Mum had to get the weiler to sit and finally the owner come and took her dog away (she had run off) I had only run a few metres ahead but it was just enough to get away from the weiler but keep mum in view. I have never been so scared in my life! Mum took me home and our neighbours labrador come over to lick me and calm me down phew!
Mum took me out the later on and we never saw that weiler again - but I sure am gonna keep a eye out for it on our next few walks....gonna bark at her methinks! hehehe

A fox cub taken in by a rescue centre after being found beneath the body of his dead mother has got a new surrogate parent - a three-year-old mongrel dog.
Twelve-week-old Tod - named after the cub who befriends a puppy in the Disney film The Fox and the Hound - was adopted by the British Wildlife Centre.
Samantha Johnson, a worker at the centre, in Newchapel, Surrey, then took him to her home in nearby Lingfield.
She said her dog Molly "just took to Tod and is now his surrogate mother".
"He follows her everywhere," Ms Johnson added.
"He's very mischievous, he's always chewing things and pouncing on people and biting your toes when you're just sitting watching TV. He's a right little monkey."
Ms Johnson will hand-rear Tod at her home for a few more months before he returns to the wildlife centre to grow up with the other foxes there.
His mother died after becoming caught up in a fence in Brixton, south London, and he was found sheltering beside her by a gamekeeper.
Tod's experience has extended his life expectancy dramatically though, according to the wildlife centre, because as an urban fox he would probably not have survived beyond 18 months.

So there I was this morning laying on my bed as I had just been fed when instead of mum leaving us to fend for our selfs while shes off gallivanting to god knows where. When she got the leads -- Yay!!!!!!!!
*Mum* I woofed in my girlish voice bark. How comes your staying in and not leaving us with granny? Well she either couldnt understand me or she chose to ignore me. Cos she let us out and then put us in the car.
It seems that we have been exceptionally good lately (methinks me more than the others as I am nicknamed golden girlie junior) and she wanted to treat us to a different smell walk. Well we all was jumping around in the car - happy looking/ barking out of the windows till we got to our destination. Yay!!
There we strolled around the bandstands/ prom part and looked at the murky river thames. Mum wouldnt for some reason let any of us swim in it (its only in the 50's outside) but she did let us sniff around till our hearts where content yay!
So that was my special day out - awesome fun - hope mum takes us there again.

So why are the Tzus wearing red noses?
Well.........
Red Nose Day is back and it's bigger than ever - it is The Big One. The Big One is here to get you up off your bum, involved, aware and raising cash to help poor and disadvantaged people across the UK and Africa turn their lives around. It's all about giving you great comedy and entertainment, and in return you giving me your time, energy, BIG ideas and money! (taken from http://www.myspace.com/rednoseday2007 ).
The first "Red Nose Day" was on 5 February 1988, and raised £15 million. The TV show was hosted by Lenny Henry, Griff Rhys Jones and Jonathan Ross. More than £300 million has so far been distributed to projects by Comic Relief (not sure what that is in dollars).
If you wanna put a red nose on your dog here's the link. http://noseify.rednoseday.com/
Or to find out more information. http://www.rednoseday.com/
Come and join in the fun - should be a day to remember.

then add the following ingredients.....
1 cup patience....
1 cup understanding....
1 pinch correction....
1 cup hard work....
2 cups praise and 1 1/2 cups fun...
Blend well.
Heat with warmth of your heart until raised or until
puppy has doubled in size.
Mix with owner until consistency is such that owner

Mum took our picture early today and she never realised just how tall we have gotton over the last month!
While we was sitting preety on the bench (still passable weather as winter hasnt hit us yet). She looked at me and Alfie and then Flip Flop and went *blimey - Flipster your going to be the shortest!!* The only one that is a lot shorter than all of us is Cindy which is surprising really as she was the first born and Mum thought she would be the biggest.
Anyway, gotto go as mum has our aunt coming round with her boxer - we love bitting Patience (the boxer's name) on the back of her legs!

So mum went off to work today and grandma was looking after us. Well, after our eventful weekend of chrimbo decorations being put up we thought we would run around the garden a few times playing chase.
All was well and good until mum got home - ooooo you should've seen her face! How was we to know that the rainy weekend had made the garden incredably muddy?
So before she even made a drink (we knew we was in trouble) she carted all of us into the bathroom for that horrible - detestable - smelly - bath thing!
Hehehe we got our own back though - she came out even wetter than us. Luckily she saw the funny side - but that does mean we have had 2 yes two baths in two weeks - YIKES!! Sooooooooooooooooooo unfair!!!

So, after a long slumber (I couldn't be bothered to be energetic today) I was relaxing on the floor when mum started bringing down all these boxes. Woohoo toys to play with methinks. But huh? She's pulling out a tree? What - are we going to have a garden indoors? What she doing now? Pulling sparkling bits of string out and coloured balls? Okay, this is definitely strange - I wonder what she's upto? So off I plodded into the doggie room - I think I'll sleep this one out.
After a eternity it seem's she beckons me in - WOW!!! I have never seen so many twinkling things in my life. I wonder what happen's if I pull one of those balls on the tree? Ahhhh - it pings!! Great fun!!
I think I'm gonna play some more:-)

Mum thought taking us out on a walk in the mud (dear god!!) and through the fields was in order - ooooooo I dont think so !! I come across this huge and I mean humongous puddle earlier. It must have been 2cm deep and at least 10 cm long. So I stood fast. Ah no way was I gonna walk over that and dirty up my paws I look fantastic and smell like strawberries and cream - I do not want to look like a scruff bag (hehehe my nickname for Cindy;-)))
So mum picked me up and carried me through the whole of the walk - I do believe I am training my slaves (humans) exceptionally well. If only they had a human equivalent to dogster.com I would put her up on it:-)

Finally Cinder's has vacated the chair....for a little dog she sure does take up a lot of room. She called me Windy earlier. I said *hey whats your problem - what goes in has to come out somehow* Mum run from the room as my fart smelt like toxic waste hehehehe (her words not mine). She shouldn't have given me wet dog food - I always get windy when I have that.
Anyway better let my brother on now......
