The bank foreclosed on her original family's trailer, so they -- several humans and several animals -- moved in with family in Southwest Baltimore. After a few weeks, the Baltimoreans informed the West Virginians that they were free to stay as long as they liked, but the animals had to go. The West Virginians decided to do the obvious (to them) thing -- drive the animals out to a field and put a bullet in each. Fortunately, a volunteer from a local shelter lived nearby and heard this story. She intervened -- quite literally -- as the idiots were loading the animals into the car for a drive down the Green Mile. She had to BUY the animals, but she managed to rescue them. We're glad she did! Bio: Ginger's brother, Brandy, was rescued by my parents at the same time we rescued her. He used to be the dominant dog.
