Quick Bio:
-mutt-pound dog

Likes:
Butt scratches. No, really, just in front of my tail. I just love to be petted, especially since I have itchy skin a lot from allergies.

Pet-Peeves:
Anybody getting close to my food. I'm a recource guarder, which worries Mommy, because she's afraid I might bite somebody.

Favorite Toy:
Anything somebody else is playing with. Not that I want to take it away, I just want to play with them.

Favorite Food:
Turkey necks. And turkey drumsticks.

Favorite Walk:
Anyplace outside. I don't much care where we go, and I love to meet people. As long as I don't have anything to eat, I'm perfectly friendly, just once in a great while I'm afraid of somebody.

Best Tricks:
Walking on hind legs, Speak, Stay. I'm trying to learn new things too.

Arrival Story:
Mom and Dad were all set to take in a lovely Rottweiler male from a foster family. At the last minutes, the foster family decided they wanted to keep him, and the lady who set it up felt so bad she drove Mom to the shelter and paid for her to pick out a dog. They settled on me a black ball of fur hiding in the back of her cage, and set to be PTS the next day. I don't know what PTS is, but I think it's very bad. There was a husky there she wanted, but she wasn't spayed, and Mom would have had to wait, which made her sad, because this was the only day she could get a ride, so she went ahead with me. As we left, another family adopted the husky, and all they had to do was wait for her to be spayed so they could take her home.

Bio:
I obey fairly well, but it's obvious that it's Mom the most. Even when someone else was feeding me and taking me out, I always listened to Mom best. I do have some problems with resource guarding and food aggression, which has been getting worse. Mom and Dad are looking for the best option to deal with this.
