Arrival Story:
In May, 2004 we bought our home that we had been leasing for a year and a half, and I decided to celebrate on the day that the sale was final by adopting a small shelter dog to round out our family. I went in the door of the shelter, saw her little scraggly butt start wiggling at the sight of me and I didn't look at any others. I knew she was the one. She brought kennel cough home to the whole pack, but everyone got better pretty quick and we don't hold it against her. She's with us for the long haul and she knows it!

Bio:
I don't think Phoebe ever had a home, or of she did, it wasn't for long. Everything in our home was brand new to her, from the T.V. to her reflection in the sliding door. She's been difficult to housetrain, but after trying crating, she's coming along now. She loves to chew and dig, so we have to make sure she has plenty of toys. I have never seen two animals bond as quickly as she bonded with the kitty. They are inseperable, and when Phoebe goes on outings, they cover each other in kisses when she comes back in the door. She is so loving that it makes me emotional sometimes. It's like she knows I gave her a chance. Oh, and she has a gray skunk stripe that makes a mean mohawk! We know she's a terrier mix, but we have no idea aside from that. She's definitely all terrier. Woof!! PHOEBE CROSSED THE RAINBOW BRIDGE ON AUGUST 2, 2007 AFTER A BATTLE WITH ILLNESS BEGINNING IN DECEMBER 2006. SHE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY HER FAMILY & FRIENDS.
