Well, I was finally healthy enough to get another dose of CCNU - it was on Monday around noon. So far, I still feel good, but it doesn't seem to be making a bit of impact on my cancer. My mom is trying to be brave for me, but I know she is very anxious.
I think my mom loves me a lot! I hope I can beat this cancer again.

Well, the Mustargen did nothing for me so I had to get a couple of hits of L-spar. That knocked the nodes down but they didn't stay down.
Then, last week, I got CCNU - OMG I was in the ICU for five days. Evidently, this honker of a drug hits the immune system and it hit mine hard.
But, mom just picked me up from ICU a few minutes ago and I'm back home and fully recovered. And those evil cancer nodes are tiny.
The only question now is can I survive another dose of CCNU. Have to check with the oncologist on Wed.

My mom is very upset right now, my cancer is back. I've been unbelievably lucky to have successfully battled this thing for 2.5 years, yes 29 months, but now it has come back.
We tried a new drug yesterday, Mustargen, but so far there has been no change in the swollen nodes in my neck.
Please think good things for my mom - she doesn't know how she will be able to handle it if my treatment doesn't go well.
Love, Ginger
