Arrival Story:
Jake was got from a vet at 4 weeks olds. The owners could not have children, so they made Jakey there child. They decieded when jake was 3 years old they wanted to adopt a baby. They went to England and adopted a child. They came home and decided that they need to find Jake a good home. They were afraid that once the baby came home, that Jake would be jelouse . So they ran an ad inthe local newspaper. I read it and called. I went to see him and he was wonderful. Could not beleive they were getting rid of him. I brought him home. The grandkids loved him, my husband fell in love. Jake is absolutly wonderful to all ages of children, there loss is my gain.
They come and see him every summer and they can't beleive they didnt even try to make it work and wished they could do it over.
Jake is a wonderful dog , I could not have asked for a better dog. Jake loves to hang out int he neighbors yard . Jake visits all our surrounding neighbors, He likes to sit on the side walk and watch for the school bus. When the bus comes home in the afternoon, he waits for it to stop and runs out and meets all the kids getting off the bus, usually follows my granddaughter and grandson back to the porch.
Jake is a true Handsome Man, and a great friend to all.
Bio:
I'am sorry to say today is Jan.2007 I let jake out to go to the restroom . I went to let him back in the house and he didnt come. Found him dead on my front porch. He was a good old man! I will miss him and so will all his pals. octavia is really lost. I wake up in the nite and he is not there in my face to make sure Iam ok. WE LOVE U JAKE!
