Arrival Story:
I flew down from space and found my family in a parking lot. No one in my hometown claimed me for a solid month, so my current family keeps me. ;)

Volpino Italianos are very rare! Some bad, bad Pomeranian breeders buy Volpinos to try to breed fake white Pomeranians!!
Pomeranian/Volpinos that don't look enough like white poms end up at the pound! If you see a Volpino or Volpino/Pom at an animal shelter in America that has been mistaken as a pom mutt, rescue it!

What's a Volpino??:
Volpino Italianos are an extremely rare breed. There are only about 500 in the world. They resemble little foxes, because they were bred down from foxes! They resemble a Pomeranian in coat, but their noses and legs are much longer, as is the length of their body. Little foxes!

Okay, today I was sniffing my butt...it was a crazy morning, so I didn't get to scratch first. So I'm sniffing around back there, frazzled because my sniff/scratch schedule has been thrown off, when I heard the front door. Our front door makes a very particular noise. I don't know about my beloved bald legged people, but it's very distinct to me.
Upon investigation, it looks like the kids are leaving for the 'bus stop'. That big yellow thing thinks it's got somethin on me, but I'll be barking at it come 11:30. It'll screech, hiss and then run away...just like always.
Squirrel update: 3 in the tree..one at the trunk. Across the street...reconnisance pending.
