Foofer was given to me at six weeks old; a wonderful bundle of joy! His given name was Barbarosa, but I started calling him Foofer because he is afraid of the strangest things - a buzzing fly in the house scares him, and he usually took cover under the kitchen table until my husband killed the flying insect.
Bio:
Foofer was born the first of a six-pup litter; his father was Siberian Husky and his mother was a Chespeake Bay Retriever. Apparently the mother had Foofer on the lawn and then trundled off to her whelping bed; Foofer whined and the owner of the mother and father dogs put her back with the mom-dog.
Foofer passed away on 19 December 2007.
